Avalon Tyro 3 Archery Bow Bag Review
amazing video thank you so much for all the detailed info 🙏🙌
Gay
I have a Decut P-Nexus jig. The vane clamp is v shaped instead of shaped like this: ll. So, the vane tends to tilt. The cock vane is also not inline with the nock slit, so the cock vane is about 10 degrees off and one has to adjust the knock to get it in the right position. It's a pity one can't inspect these things before buying.
Totally disagree. Do weights before buying a high poundage bow, problem solved.
@JamesWillis-yy5px the video discusses materials used and does not suggest buying any draw weight of bow. When starting out I would always suggest no more than a 20lbs draw weight
I heard "some limbs are 80 pounds and other limbs are 800 pounds" and I thought "I've never heard of such extreme draw weight!" -- Then it hit me that this statement is referring to a completely different kind of pound.
Correct, I am talking about currency, not physical draw weight, but that is pretty obvious
Very informative. Thank you. 👍
Great review thank you
👌
Incredibly helpful video, thank you so much for this! Very glad I subscribed!
Wow i actually learned smoting thanks
thanks
Which is better P-nexus or Charger?
Charger has superceded the P-nexus
I almost returned my Shibuya plunger because it was too confusing to use. I am 6 months into taking up archey, so this video really simplified the process 🌟.
Fabulous.. all the info well explained in one video - considering my TBow came with only a small folded piece of paper with Chinese .. no English and only a couple of unusable drawings -:)
Really great video. The item I bought came with a well manufactured booklet, but the instuctions were no comparison to your super instructions. Top job!
Ive noticed that all compound archers have their cock vane sitting 90° from the string so when arrows on biw the cock vane sits at the 9 o'clock position , does it matter with compound bow when using dropaway arrow rest ?
So do i just put shaft onto this and just attach vane or is it not that simple ?
You need to put the nock on first. That locates on the receiver
Mine only has 2 settings , it has to the left RC 120° in the middle 90° and to the right CP120° . The bit you push it with , when set for CP , sits at the 90° then when you move it to the left it sits and RC120° and the allen key bit sits at the 90°so when set for RC the allen key sits at the 90° and when set for CP the allen key sits under the 120° so how do you set it foe 4 Vane? Mine will only let me select 3 Vane for RC and CP
I have a question about the degree adjustment. So if I want to achieve a 3 degree, can I only adjust the rear adjustment or do I need to also adjust the front as well? The hash marks are cool but they do not show what degree you are achieving. TY
each mark is 1 degree
@@redfrogarchery Ok so if that is the case, that would be 7 degrees each direction available? Is that correct?
di indonesia bisa dibeli dimana?
Thanks, very informative video.
Trying to get my head round compound setting what's the difference in placement to the others?
The vanes sit at 90° to recurve so the cock vane sits vertically.
The nock on a compound arrow is 90° out from recurve so the cock vane points up
Thank goodness I found your video. I swear I’ve been looking for days to find a video that explains everything you cover in this video. Thank you!
What is the max degree of offset? How well does it contour vanes to the shaft at that angle?
Not good I got one hoping for a decent product does fine for vanes less than 3 inches runs into problems with small diameter shafts and longer vanes
Those have very weak magnets. If you don't hold clamp down while glue dries, clamp lifts off arrow.
This is the new model and we have not found that to be the case
The magnet system is still the same. They're weak and will lift the vane off the arrow unless you apply downward pressure with your hand while glue dries.
@peterp1143 No, it's not.
No exageration to state that your videos are on a class of their own. Better than anything else on yT about archery. Wish I discovered your channel at the very start of my pratice. Superb stuff Thank you for sharing
This is a fantastic video. Covered precisely everything I needed, all in one video and with great explanations. Thanks!
Thanks for your feed back, hope you enjoyed watching it as much as I did making it.
coming back to this as I've just bought my first limbs. really useful to help tune everything. thanks. The only thing I struggled with was the brace length. mine is 8" and no matter how many twists or untwists, i cannot seem to make it more. I don't want to adjust the limbs as I have them set at the right tiller, weight atm. 68" + 25" setup.
Nice offering from sanleada, wish it was a 2piece
Reminds me of the ragim wolf
What a top class clip for setting up a bow. I am new to archery been using some old bows but have now just ordered a nice new bow. This clip will get me set up in no time, BIG thank you
👍👍
Thank you for the video. I wish I had seen this video when I started archery a year ago. Your clear explanation of the limb/tiller bolt adjustment is perfect. I will be sending this link to a few other archers who need to see it too.
Glad to have been of help, remember to subscribe to our channel
Really well explained, one of the best I've seen so far.
Muchas gracias por este video. Está todo muy bien explicado. 👏🏻👏🏻 Un saludo desde Colombia, LatAm.
Thank you from Malaysia!
very helpful video!
Well explained, simple and to the point.
I was pushed into a 70" setup. The string angle was tough on my nose. Later, I moved to 68" because "used limbs" and guess what? Better fit and better velocity.
Bow length is dictated by draw length
I am shooting 60 lbs on a compound bow, what draw weight would you suggest for a recurve,
I will assume you have about an 80% let off on your bow so you are only holding 12lbs on your fingers. Although you need strength to get over "the hump" I would not advise getting too high a recurve draw weight as holding the bow to aim will take more out of you and you could tire. Probably about 26-30lbs tops best bet is get a set of 28lbs ILF limbs and you can adjust them down or up 2lbs to suit. Just get an inexpensive set as you will probably build up to a higher weight. Have a look at the Core Prestige limbs www.redfrogstore.co.uk/products/core-prestige-wood-fiber-ilf-limbs
@@redfrogarchery thanks for the reply, will most certainly follow your advice
Hi , thanks for that - hopefully arrange to pop in soon
Short & sweet - great video
this is very great video ! thank you !
Just got the makings of a recurve barebow. I've watched a shitloads of setup videos. I wish this had been the first one I watched..... great fucking job, dude
Great explanatory video. I shoot recurve and I wanted to lean exactly what you put out.
Thanks Sir
RUclips stalking ;) I can raise you in the freaky/oddball stakes mate ;) I am right handed and right eye dominant... or is that left eye dominant? I shoot with my left eye closed and decided to experiment to see if anything changed - so shot a few ends with both eyes open. Half my shots were drilled in the center (10 yards ...;) ) and half the shots almost missed the boss. Also seen a few folks like me - who seem to have 50/50 eye dominance. Makes beginner's courses "interesting" ;)
Great video, my son and i took up archer a few months back, ic ordered two new bow kits, there is loads of help at the club and they would do it for me but id like to do it myself and then talk to them
This is by far the best explanation on how to setup a recurve bow. Thanks for that.
Brilliant video. Everything nicely explained and easy to follow. I have subscribed!
