Oh Polly I am so sorry for your upsetting circumstances and know how horrible it is when a loved one is going through a bad time,it is truly gut wrenching but as you say it is part of life but that doesn't in any way make it easy but I am sure with your kindness and wisdom you will soon feel more able to get through this. I also love a DUPE but haven't got a Lidle near me but have had some nice perfume from Aldi in the past. Have a good week and hopefully things will be looking better in the next week.🎉

Morning Polly I too am going through a rough time our youngest son has come through a difficult divorce and met someone really lovely and they're really happy unfortunately he's been diagnosed with cancer and is now going through the process of what can be done for him,this week my husband saw a consultant whom told him he has cancer can't tell you how I feel sick to my stomach,after looking after mum for seven years whom had vascular dementia I thought as a family we would be able to relax and enjoy life but no ❤

Hi Polly Loving the dupes must have a look, like you I love my perfume. The stew looked warm and hearty and good crusty bread. I made banana and sultana cake in my bread making machine yesterday was delicious. Sorry to hear that it has been a difficult time for the family, be strong. Sending lots of love. xx

I had what you have in my left hip for nine months, and the pain got worse and went down my leg, and it was agony to go up steps. I'm also menopausal and 59. I went to an acupuncturist who cured it in 3 sessions. I suffered for so long unnecessarily, and I was already on HRT which didn't help that particular condition, but I'm still on HRT because it is good for so many other health benefits, albeit a controversial subject. Hope that helps!

Hi Polly lovely to see mum looking so happy and looking really well, she has the most beautiful eyes. My son is in the throws of buying a house and this week after 4 months the chain of 3 has broken. He is a first time buyer and the house he is purchasing they have dropped out of a purchase as the house they wanted has asbestos!!!! So he is frustrated and thinking what does he want to do!! I had my birthday yesterday surrounded by my family which was lovely. Glad you enjoyed the ball it looked like you both had a really nice time. Have a great week. See you next Sunday. xx

That’s what we have done - wanting to move up to Derbyshire from Sussex - we have been driving around villages Mickleover/Littleover as need to be near Derby Hospital for my job - won’t be for a few years yet but can’t wait to move up North - exciting times - fingers crossed for your house hunting!

Hi Polly, I'm on the house journey with you! We popped our house on the market 2 weeks ago, had one viewing but the lady was unable to proceed and we have another viewing next week, but I agree that maybe now is the wrong time of year? We have potentially seen a house that we would like to purchase ( only 4 miles away lol) but don't want to build our hopes us as we have to sell our house first! We've made a conscious decision to delist it on 1st Dec if we haven't had firm offer and someone who has already sold, I don't want the stress through Dec, so will relist it in the new year and hope that the house we have potentially earmarked is still available..sad thing is we have viewed the house and we love it. But, what will be will be and will just leave it to the universe! Hope yours and Nancy's house journey goes smoothly 😊xx

IT is lovely to see your mum Nancy. She's marvellous really for her age. Glad you enjoyed the Ball. You looked lovely Polly. My mum who lives with me is only 82 but her Dementia is now much more advanced. She hasnt been able to be left on her own for the last 3 years. I know what you mean about asking for help but we have no other family unfortunately like a lot of folks and you can only ask friends for so long before they run out of patience. It has taken a huge toil on my health, and due to my ill health and fracturing my shoulder when I fell gardening I finally gave in and I'm paying for cleaners and a gardener to come every two weeks. It's helped me tremendously. Ive also got mum into a Dementia day centre one day a week for 6 hours. Has given me the time to catch up on important things as mum takes up 99 percent of my time. It comes at an expensive cost though which a lot cant afford. She shouts for me continually or follows me all day. She can't really communicate now and doesn't recognise her home. She keeps asking to go home even though we've lived here for 52 years. It's a terrible disease and heartbreaking. I'm really pleased that you have help you can call on Polly. You're very lucky because thing only get harder. You are doing right selling the houses. I'm in the process of trying to declutter my house with a view to selling it next year and perhaps renting an apartment. I can't manage the stairs very well due to lung fibrosis. I've never smoked in my life but now struggle with even showering myself. I hope you get buyers soon and find a new lovely home for you all Polly.

We stayed here a few years ago and loved it. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your visit. 5 minute walk along the beach takes you into the village/town where there were absolutely umpteen beautiful restaurants and bars serving local dishes... I'm amazed you weren't told about them at reception. You definitely missed out.

Hi Polly love going to balls. A friend of ours does a Teal Gala at the Mayfair hotel like you a black number with teal accents, love my husband more when he is dressed up!!! Mum looking as lovely and spirited as every - Hi Nancy! I went to stay with my mum who was poorly when we arrived. Totally confused not eating or drinking just wanted to be in bed, it turned out to be a virus. She is now on the mend but I have had covid for the last 3 weeks. Just have to rest and get through it. Have a great week and hope you thoroughly enjoyed your night away. xx
