What if you want to check to see if there are any other codes? What button do I press?

Does this have to be plugged in to charge your battery? Can you charge the actual Cen-Tech at home, then unplug it to take it to a stranded car to charge?

What if theres no codes but the light is yellow

So I've had the same model as you show in the it works perfectly then didn't use for about 6 months went to use on four wheeler soon as I plugged it into the wall outlet it flashes on and seems like it's tripping the charger

So with the emergency start you would keep it all plugged in when you start the car? With the other ones you don’t?

Is it my understanding that a dead battery will not turn on charger? I hooked up cables set to trickle plugged in and charger does not go on..

Just bought one does not work! Will take back to Harbor Freight tomorrow!

Keep in mind if your battery is to far drained ,this charger will not come on , DONT JUST THROW IT AWAY! it works!

Hey.... Um.... The people that have AGM batteries would know huh .... Last time I checked. Optima Blue Tops are AGM batteries. Just wanted to let you know so you don't ruin the battery, I know how much they cost.

WARNING..don't buy this charger. Everyone that I know who's brought one including myself. I guarantee you it won't last even 30 days. Especially if your using it once a week.

This video was hard to watch. Rough math - a dead 100 amp-hr battery would take 50 hrs to charge at 2 amps, and 10 hrs at 10 amps.

So how many codes was it saying you have in total ? I have all these codes and 2 are blinking but it says 1 of 1 . So I'm not sure how many codes if have lol.

The battery charger is a good unit but I would suggest you be very careful about using the 50 amp jump starting mechanism the question is will the 50 amp jump starting mechanism work that I would not recommend that you jump start that car truck on 50 amps because in the conditions the weather conditions that you're in say no to that battery it might freeze and again we don't know and I would suggest you be very careful about that battery build up slowly during cold weather conditions especially snowing weather freezing cold weather conditions thank you.

Erased the codes, but my check engine light stayed on and i'm receiving no error codes on the device

My light won't get power?

The device was only supposed to clear his check engine light. It did that but also reset his "readiness monitors" if you look at the beginning of the video he only had one flashing. At the end he had about 6 flashing. The device is only supposed to clear/erase the codes not erase everything! I used this device to clear my codes once my ready monitors were all good and it wiped everything. I now have to drive 100 more miles for the computer to reset the monitors again. If you are trying to get state Inspection do not clear codes with this device.

For safety reasons you would want to hook the positive first because you can sort the battery by accident if you drop the lead. If you drop the ground wire and touches a ground point no harm.
