Yes broken down indeed, as in faulty on delivery and with no customer service or tech support they will give you the run around to avoid actually helping you.

Worse customer service! Worse tech support! I've been trying to get a replacement part that was defective on delivery, 3 weeks later and they just say... We are working on it. The don't email you to let you know, I have to keep calling and doing the live chat. That don't reply to your email. Buyer beware, advice, stay away from silicon solar.

Very misleading video. You state the solar option allows for continuous operation throughout the night however what you're not specifying is that it's only if you use the pump on timer mode which only operates the pump 10 minutes every hour. It will not pump continuously throughout the night. Also you should state in your videos and your website that the battery backup requires it to be fully charged before the pump will begin pumping. So with your solar pump packages with battery backups the pump will not work for the first 4 hours of direct sun on the solar panel in the morning, yet will pump water for a few hours after sunset when often water circulation is not needed. These are things you don't find out until you purchase your products and read the included paperwork. Very misleading way to conduct business.

I’ve had this setup on a small 10 gallon fountain for 4 years now running on the timed setting with no problems. Now it will only run for about 30 seconds on any setting then shuts off for a couple of hours. Is it the battery or the panel or both?

There is a few thing to do to make these last longer and spread more light, first run a quality electrical tape over the screws on top of each side they tend to let the water in or even better silicon them. Once you mount it bent it up slightly to keep water from sitting on the solar panel it also helps it kick on sooner i have mine at a 20 degree angle and at least 8ft high. I recommend mounting them on the very top of fence post verses on a wall for better charging.

It would have been nice to see it lit up in the dark. Maybe even see it at work catching the bugs. Otherwise, seems like a nice enough addition for parties and such.

Those will work 6 months. Due to sunlight the solar panels bend upwards and let rain penetrade the housing. This will affect the lithium batery and cirquitboard. Unfortunatly I bought 3 pieces and found out the hard way
