Heard some of these last night for about an hour down the street in my development.

This video helped me identify the sound i heard while deer hunting.

I’m not letting my dog outside because I hear the coyote screaming like a siren lol. Why is it screaming like that?

It really sucks that they sound like evil women dying. One scared the shit out of me just now trying to take my dog out.

So this is what I just heard outside my bedroom window, but it was a bunch of them 😮😱

I live in a very wooded area where there's always coyotes at night. They always make this odd "duck" sound, where they all band together and yip but it sounds like a flock of ducks! Had my family so freaked out for days until we saw that it was just yotes 😂

I heard something I was not familiar with this morning making noise outside my window, it was way to dark to see anything but my suspicion is that it was either a fox or coyote.

I live in a city, I hear all these sounds AND MORE!

1:34 heard this exact sound in the middle of the night walking my dog. Hopefully it was 2 coyotes fighting and not them getting someone’s pet

Coyotes always make me think of camping in California, but the wildest time I heard their calls was late at night in an Indianapolis cemetery.

most of these sounds i reconize i live in the midwest like most the pople here so i know these sounds but im trying to identify the sounds of something i heard two seperate nights, as neither of them sounded like any animal or person ive heard before

The first animal is a fishING cat (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fishing_cat). I've seen them in Singapore. The second animal is a fishER cat.

I think I just heard 1 tonight while outside smoking but it sounded like it was no more than 100 feet away from me… sounded like some kind of alarm I def hit the panic button

I’m in Ohio and I’m smoking a cig at night and heard the sound of a coyote or dog quite interesting how similar they sound but def a coyote. I live by the woods so would make a lot of sense. It made a repetitive nose over and over again like whoo whoo whoo who, ohwwww ohw interesting

First animal is a bobcat. Second is a baby fisher cat. Then the man pretending to be a fisher. Then fishers playing…then a fisher warning the man it will attack…alot of fishers playing together. These are NOT the night time fisher cat hunting sounds. At night they can sound like a baby crying, woman shrieking, or horse whinny (horse winny is what one is doinf in the city i live in Massachusetts right now in September every 5am. Scary bc neighbors take their dogs out to pee before they leave for work at that time. Watch out for these guys! They are very dangerous.

Mmm I couldn’t tell if it was a mama coyote n babies or a fox. It seemed smaller but definitely kinda barked weirdly at me when I was trying to shoo it away

I wish you had some captioning for different situations that evoke these particular sounds… In the first couple of minutes it sounded like a human whistling, but I wasn’t sure… Also, the video imagery not matching. The sound was confusing at first. Thanks for sharing these. We have several coyote packs, competing for territory in our wooded neighborhood and lately I’ve heard lots of sounds from my backyard after midnight that are so strange I couldn’t identify them. It’s like a cross between a bird screech, and definitely a call of distress… I wasn’t sure if it was, something being killed by a coyote or a coyote itself. The closest sound to the horrible sound I’ve heard is right around 9:14 so that’s helpful … not exactly the same, but similar.

If you didn’t know what those sounds were, they’re pretty terrifying. We’re used to them here in the Midwest. It’s actually a comforting sound to me, they carry on most of the night when we go camping.
