Supposedly a new one will be on the way after it gets back in stock
I've been trying to conceptualize this process for years. Not a fabricator but am a strong diy-er and can weld. Thanks for this.
@@GlorifiedPizza absolutely we’re aren’t fabricators but we try our best 😂
Please tell me you don’t just have that battery bungee corded in place while you’re driving around
@@nashwoods2385 no I put the battery wedge in 😂
@ thank Jesus

That’s alotta watta
What kind of lift do you guys have? Im planning to lift my 02 yukon denali AWD.

9:29 waiting for that CV to snap 👀. This has been on my back burner list for a while! Any deets on which tcase(NP261?), any driveshaft or flange changes?
@@OverlandAdventureTimes yes it’s an NP261 but when we put everything together the front drive shaft is just slightly shorter so we may at a later date grab a drive shaft from a Silverado/Sierra and plug it in
@@adventurefriendsgo awesome, thanks! I don't think I'd ever seen a definitive answer on the front shaft length.
@ yeah it works the boot just doesn’t fit so it’s about an inch short or 1.5 inches
4:07 epic side pony
Value your body and wear safe clothes next time.
@@Dwayne-mb2uj it was pretty hot outside so it was tough to wear extra layers
There used to be so many of us
how do you think that ABS would hold up on the hottest day of the year on the exterior of a vehicle? Interesting idea, you might be able to get some wood trim to help clean it up.
@@RavensEyeOffroad to be honest with you, you halfto get it really hot to bend it so I think as long as it’s not weight bearing I don’t think it would warp on you
What a chill video
Do You have the paint code?

Ahh you figured it out lol
Let’s see what it looks like after
@@Jayroc23 we recently built a center console as well but in the end of this video you’ll be able to see the final product
@@adventurefriendsgo cool bro was your truck not four wheel drive before ?
@@Jayroc23the denalis were awd. No selectable lock and no low range
@@Jayroc23 no it was AWD
What size is the screen. Is it flush or does it look wonky? Thanks!
@@garzausn it is a 10 inch screen and it’s not flush it stick out from the dash
8:57 the extra space makes it much easier to get a soft shackle through.

I just built basically the exact same rear lower part of the bumper for my Ranger a few weeks ago, looks sick brother!

That’s exactly why I’ve been thinking of doing the same with my truck…. It sees a lot of the bush
@@DesolationOverland it’s totally worth it and it keeps you from being hesitant of adventuring through those tight brush infested spaces

get rid of that bar it does literally nothing, in fact it will actually damage the vehicle when it gets caught on somthing and rips the whole rear end off, its ment to make repairs difficult and plentiful with offroading, if your diff is flexing or you want to do extreme driving, should probably weld it or use a slightly thinker metal/gussets
@@DeVoNmotorsports that makes sense we’re working on fabricating thicker sway bar links using dom and making the sway bar brackets beefier. The goal was too give it a little bit more stability on the road especially when towing a trailer out to where we off-road
@@adventurefriendsgo NO please its not a sway bar, a sway bar prevents sway! it does this by linking an independent suspension or Flex beam. so when you hit a bump on one side only the bar uses the other sides Spring, and drops the other side more evenly , to level the vehicle or prevent sway and tipping, I would give the car an alignment for towing, if its used for towing. with a bit of positive camber for when the front is lifted caster angle will effect return to center and towing alot, also tiny bit of tow in vs out makes it go in a strait line, the kingpin axis of inclination can be adjusted by wheel offset and rim size this effects feedback in the wheel leverage, also there is valving in the steering rack that adjustable or should be anyway.. load up the bed to 3/4 payload and then do an alignment, tire pressure and adjustable shocks also, make sure the control arm bushings rubber is actually supporting the vehicle they are literally apart of the springs holing and returning to center this is adjustable, when i took my truck to a steering specialist i found it to be a scam most alignment places rush steps like rolling compensation watch out we are approaching a zombie apocalypse of idiocracy
@@DeVoNmotorsports dang that’s a lot to think about thank you
