Julian honestly has the most underrated and overlooked character arc/development in the series. From arrogant rich kid, to having his ego bruised and then horribly humiliated, to picking himself back up. Heck, this battle resonated with me personally during a time when I used to be good at something, then kept failing over and over again, thinking I was no good, then seeing this battle and learning no one wins forever and it’s ok to fail as long as you pick yourself back up. I also like how this was the one match that never got to happen because China vs EU ended in a 2-0, and it’s Dashian won this and essentially avenged his team’s loss while the rest of his team got defeated back then

Yes, Masamune is a fraud and Nile from Metal Fury still beats him albeit going high diff to do so.

The only thing that a lot of the Masamune hate taught me is that "fraud" is just another trendy word anime fans, especially power-scalers who only care about power and not story or meaningful character development, decided to abuse and spam everywhere

Tsubasa would have absorbed julian's power cuz eagle is right rotating and destroyer left rotating...Btw there still many battles we wanted to see like faust vs ryuga, kyoya vs ryuga, nile vs julian,zeo(full power) vs ginka,kyoya vs deshaun or julian, ryo vs jack,dark tsubasa vs ryuga or damian or ginka etc

If all of these characters were legendary bladers the season would've been boring cause all gingka had to do is find all his friends n unlock their power 💀💀💀 Plus most of these characters played a role in finding the legendary bladers n had alot of screen time anyway

People have to acknowledge that even though these are battles Masamune lost he was able to push opponents to use their full power to beat him

honestly i feel kenta vs reiji was way more crushing and brutal because unlike hyoma who did lose his cool early-ish in teh fight kenta kept getting back up and strengthening his spirit to get it repeatedly broken although kenta was more composed at the end of the fight then hyoma you also need to bare in mind doji also ordered reiji to make kentas defeat more antagonising and painful to make ginka squirm, so although hiyoma was shown to suffer more psychologically in his battle i personally be leave kentas battel with reiji was more twisted and brutal

Not really he had good character development in the anime and was awesome in the manga. That title goes to the Garcia's or yuki.

Is he overhated? Yeah, probably. Did the writers do him exceptionally dirty to keep Gingka the Hero of the show? Oh hell yeah.

As a long time mfb fan, Masamune is only really hated by the new wave of fans that that arrived during the beyblade trend back in 2023. Before the trend, masamune was one of the more well liked and most popular characters in the series. And I will always say he's of the best written characters in the metal saga, because they gave him depth, and a really good character arc. It's honestly really sad seeing a well liked character being hated and called a "fraud" (even though he has more wins than losses) just because its the "cool" thing to do.

Masamune should not be overated he is a fucking noob, he is very useless

When I was little I never really hated Masamune and I don't really hate him today either. Masamune has always been a great role model for me. Sure, characters like Ryuga and Damian are strong, but Masamune always gives his best and you can see that in his fights. Just because he loses doesn't mean he can't put up a good fight, which is why he has gained the respect of strong Bladers like Claus and King. It's just not fair that Masamune is portrayed as a bad friend or as the worst Blader in the world. Masamune was my biggest role model for beyblade back then because I put hard work above talent and strength 😊
