Im just starting out. How many files are used for a job like this? Is it one each for front, back, and fretboard?
Hi, are you able to share the make and model of the machine and can it make an acoustic guitar neck?
Beautiful!
A cracker video thank you. A lovely insight into the processes. 👍
Awesome video! How did you glue the fretboard to the neck after placing the truss rod and carbon fiber rods so precisely? Thanks!
Nice nice work ! Thanks for the video.
素晴らしい👍
where can i find cnc files for this guitar neck model?
What Cnc machine is that
top queria g-code de contra baixo?
Bravo. Can you send me the file. Greetings😂😎
Hello, great video and great project! I am new to this and I am thinking of going to a workshop where they work with CNC or laser cutting to ask them to help me cut a custom pickguard. Could you tell me how you transferred the model and measurements of the pickguard to the CNC machine so that it would fit well to the instrument? Thank you!
Hats off sir! What a nice work! :)
That’s so funny I noticed the oceans song immediately hahahaha are you Christian? 😊
wow !!!!!!!!
Very illustrative video, thank you. It's not so much a problem to buy a suitable CNC router and create 3D models, as it is to buy additional small machines: grinder, planer, drill, planer... and then have room for all that! This is a job I would like to do, but apart from the money for a great CNC, I can't afford the rest listed, and I wish I coul
What about the truss rod slot?
nice work
Great work cnc machine In the year 2525🎶🎶
so how do you get the truss rod in there? do you have to drill it out by hand?
so how do you keep things aligned when flipping over to do the other side?
If you look its obvious. There are 4 dowels that secure the base....
When and how did you put in the truss rod?
do you have a video on how to use a cnc machine to build a guitar for beginners ?
Is there program that I can use for making my own?
Is that Oceans?
I’m getting ready to cnc my own neck soon. I wonder if you could cut your truss rod channel, flip then cut back of neck, flip, glue on fretboard blank and then cut all of your inlays, fret slots, and radius as well as your headstock That way you wouldn’t have to worry about making a pocket in your table for your fretboard blank. Only problem you might have is the middle of the neck being unsupported during the fretboard cutting
If you use fusion 360 you can add tabs These tabs can be numerous and thick enough to support the neck. Always use the same size stock, and your zero position in the same place and you can flip the piece infinite times. When it is finished, cut the tabs
How long did the nc program take?
Sweet! Did you download that file somewhere or draw it out yourself? Also, loved the music brother.
Great work! What Cnc machine/program are you using? could similar results be achieved with a diy hobbyist machine?
I used Rhino for CAD and RhinoCam for CAM
Wondering what type of bit is used for the fret slots?
0.7mm Upcut bit
I hear that your accompanying music is the Christian song 'Oceans'. Very nice!
Best porn I've ever seen.
Curious on how many hours to complete?
What do you do about the truss rod?
Magnificent
Swamp ash ?
I'm about venture into the CNC world to do just this, make guitar neck and bodies. Weird thing is the song in the background. I'm in my music studio watching the video and I turn around and on my music stand is this song. Kind of cool I think.
Now that's awesome but how did u get the truss Rod in? U just install it when the hole was done then flipped the neck?
Fingerboard and main neck are two separate pieces. See 0:27
Can I know your endmill specs?
amazing. wow
What machine is this? How much did it cost? Is it easy to program? Do you need to connect it to a laptop?
How long did it take from carving the wood to finishing?
Very nice work. Also enjoyed the soundtrack
Is this homemade cnc machine?
That’s awesome I want one
This has to be one of the best process videos! (m about to make my first neck... your work is inspiring!
I got wood from watching this vid
Isn't quarter-sawn + trussroad + carbon fibber overkill? I have a quarter-sawn maple neck and the part of the neck that's screw to the body won't move at all, and it gives me a reversed ski jump. Sometimes, a flat-sawn single-piece maple neck is good as long as it has enough material to avoid warping.
Perfect!
What type of wood is that?
