Hey brother, that's a good job! I'm thinking to do exactly the same in my 2017 tracer, can I please ask you where can I find the link pipe (that looks like S) you add after you cut the manufacturer silencer? Thanks in advance.
Is the linkpipe also only availble? Than i can mount the exhaust scorpion from my street tripple

There are adapters for tapered handlebars to put in the clamps, why haven't you used them...???🤔
Only my opinion but.. I'd have cut into the CAT and cut off further down from the O2 sensor making a more secure join and then there's room for a clamp too
Fully drilling the plastic throttle end and moving the throttle over slightly to the left are soooo key!
So is the bar supposed to be even with the levers?
And this idiot shoves the piece into the handlebar without the nut then cuts to a different clip of it out of the bar on the guard.. The horrible music just added to the frustration. This is as bad as it gets
My throttle doesn’t snap back when I tighten everything down. Any tips?
Unscrew the throttle a little and move it left so you will se end od the handle bar (1-2mm)
Trim the throttle tube
Damn this does not work with my pro taper throttle tube
How was that kit for wind protection down the highway? I'm getting beat up pretty much anything over 65moh.

An honest opinion. I've been riding for forty-two years. My current ride is a 2013 Yamaha Fjr1300a. My last trip was 7835 miles. I appreciate the quiet, on a long trip, of the stock exhaust on my FJR. It's been my observance that sound level has a lot to do with fatigue. Having no droning exhaust sound works. I've logged up to 952 miles in a day. The quieter the better. I use a set of Bose Noise Canceling ear buds. At 65 mph, and the windshield positioned correctly, the noise inside my Shoei GT Air, is nearly dead quiet. I plug my ear buds into my Galaxy phone, and use Pandora, or Audible for a book, or stored music. Great entertainment and no droning exhaust noise to wear you down, and take away the bliss.
I totally agree with you. I've had my fj-09 for 7 years with the stock exhaust, but my biggest problem with it, was its ugliness. I finally changed it to a slip on that's similar to this one, but I also bought the stage 2 baffle. It sounds a little louder than stock, but at highway speeds, I can barely hear it. The after market muffler just looks better to me.

Why is he jerking on a connector in the begin the movie? It doesnt show hes disconnecting it. And why unscrew the side bolt 2x in the video.
the best part of this video is when that damn annoying background music stops ,as far as an exhaust note goes ,that's debatable I've got the same bike but fitted a delkevic sports system and its sound is waaay better than the scorpion note sorry man but that's just the way it goes, anyhoo happy New year to you and your bike, cheers 🍻 Robbie

Give me some fucking words. I bought these hand guards and I will NEVER buy anything from this company again. They DO NOT fit a Yamaha TW200. A waste of $90.

Bought these for my xt350 and they won't fit right I ordered a different hardware kit hopefully it will work

No, no need, because the pipes are original. This is only slip on.

That throttle grip is trapped against the hand guard, that will most definitely hang, I’ll be neatly trimming mine back slightly for good measure.
How stable are these handguards and did they survive long? Nice Video!
They are pretty stable expesaly these ones these are the x factory so if ur bike falls over the handguards will pertect ur grips and ur clutch/brake, cuz it has that bar thing going in the grip.

Hello, I was wondering what happend when the motorcycle falls on the side with the gas handle. Is it possible that the protection slides further into the bar and may block the gas?

How wide do you drill with the step drill? Just enough to fit the expanding end of that bolt? Or further?

Yes, 22mm is 7/8, standard handlebar size all over the world.

It's either "save yourself a lot of work" or "save yourself a lot of money" Not everyone has £1000 to buy a full system

@@Modelar4ever oh just cause you didnt rev it up much,,was hard to tell how it sounded other than at an idle,,,i like how easy the baffle came out,,,i think i like it better in ,,,,but i think you revved it up more with it out than in ,,did you notice any throttle response or change in how it runs ,thanks for sharing
Hi, thanks for showing us how to fit the pipe. Is there any difference with the power delivery of the bike afterwards and does the bike still run as smoothly etc ? Am thinking of fitting this to my own Tracer. Thanks.

I fitted the pipe to my bike. Easy to fit. Love it. No baffles.
It runs better without restrictions. See my video of easy way to modify the stock muffler

Nice work on the cutting/grinding and the exhaust sounds good but if I decide to change the stock exhaust on my Tracer I think I will install Akrapovic full system
