the big question it is a short sword or a big machete
if they said dont baton with it then why would they make a knife with that design
I guess before it's more of a "fighting" blade than a woods tool, and it has a more fine tip
Really gotta question a knife maker that's scared to have his knives batoned. I don't baton myself but it is a great test to check if it's heat treated good. Especially a knife that size should have no problems. I understand making a fighting knife just what good would it be nowadays? A $20 tramontina will baton and chop all day and night.
I just think it's because it's not made for tasks like that, I have a bolo from him as well that he said I can go wild on. Maybe some day I'll do a video on it.

Mine came sharp enough out of the box...maybe you can call it a working edge.

Wow it's hard to believe it's already been a year since I posted this video! So far it's holding together fine, but I haven't used it as much as I would have liked to. Hopefully soon I can start getting back into hiking more

VF2085 is the K&N part # for a 2023 Kia niro hybrid. It doesn’t show on k&n site “vehicle specific” but I did find it by measurements, and can confirm 100% it does fit perfectly. Running mine for 6+ months now.

That’s what I was thinking, maybe if we stop calling these new tools that Victorinox is talking about as knives. Victorinox will be creating a new tool line, along with continuing there great knife collection.

That heet stuff you are using, I've never seen that used. Is it a better fuel than alcohol? Just curious. Thank you
HEET is primarily methanol and alcohol is mostly ethanol. I think it burns better than alcohol but in my experiences it's more sooty. I also think you need better ventilation with HEET and it's more caustic, so you better not spill it on your skin or anything else (or clean it off quickly). I like using it because it does burn well and is easy to find, but in my fuel bottle I still prefer to bring Everclear.
