Learn how to set up and use the Signature Add-on for Google Forms to get an official signature on your documents. If you're looking to get more than 3 signatures a month, then it will cost you. However, if you're a teacher, you can get it for $0.005/signature (which is $2.50/500 signatures).

When I go to add it all the options I get are “open” “-add on not opening” and “help” I don’t get all the options that are shown on the video, why?

It would have been nice to know up front that there were limited signatures. This add on has pricing plans and the “free” one only gives 10 free signatures per month before implementing their branding and forcing you to bump up your plan…. 😩😩😩

Would rather there's a signature section where the user can sign before submitting the form. Then copy the google form link and send it. Minimise steps taken to save time and get the job done

You don't explain how you are using a spreadsheet to add the client info and signature to the spreadsheet. How would that function work with a regular google doc or a PDF requiring a signature if you were signing an online form?

Fist off you did not explain where you are epic fail you can not assume that you being fast every one can follow you a good teacher is detail oriented not fast this did not help at all

Remove the file upload question, set up your signature, and then create again the file upload question. Worked for me.

I have not used it in a class setting as our district doesn't require sigs, but I feel it's fairly straight forward and should be simple to use. However, some people have a hard time printing, so...

No they do not.

If you're wanting to get more than 3 signatures a month, you'll need to pay per signature. If you're an educator, then it's incredibly cheap, like 500 sigs for $2.50.

For the person signing the form do they have to copy & click and do all those steps? That part was a little confusing but over all great video! Thanks!
If you're using the Multiple Signatures (new) then the person signing would need to copy/paste into the google doc. With Multiple Signatures Classic, they don't need to do that. Classic is better if you're only collecting one name on the form. (new) works better if there are multiple names being gathered on the form. Hope that helps!
@@adapt-ed Can i make a copy of the form and use it again? if so, how do I go back and get the signature link?
@@lrcstaff5425 I believe you have to apply the plugin each time you create/copy a form as the link is unique to each form.
Seems great up to the point where the user needs to copy and paste something, this addon will lose a lot of people right there.
You should do a video on the first day of class.
