Hello, my friend. I have a Sonos Play 3 speaker, and the LAN connection stopped working, and I can't perform a factory reset. Do you have any tips to resolve this? Thank you.
If we don't have a hot air station, is there another easy way to get the original port unsoldered? Still waiting on my proper soldering bits to deliver so I am figuring out if I'll need something else. Got Flux, Wick, and an iron currently.

Can you make a video that how to fix furby when is cover with sand
Hi! Do you mean it was used at a beach and entirely covered with sand?
Hello, there is a kind of fuse that has blown, can we change it and how is it done?
Hi! Have you seen one, or are you more or less thinking that there is a fuse?
@CanWeFixThat yes i saw one, i can send a picture if you want
@blizzer44, I assume it looks like an SMD resistor or something similar. If so, I recommend using hot air to remove it and solder a new one with a fine soldering iron tip. If you only have a soldering iron, I would use a big solder blob covering both pads to desolder it.
@CanWeFixThat do you have a link to order a new one?
@@CanWeFixThat the resistance is made of glass
Good video. You are a master. I'll bet your hand is steady enuff to join a couple atoms, and your eyes can see them too.
I really appreciate your compliment! It means a lot to me to hear that my skills are recognized 🫶
cool video
Thank you so much! 🫶
seeing the amount of damage.. chances are you wont get it running.. i would have just bought a used motherboard before doing that mod.. couldnt have been that expensive to buy a damaged screen PS Vita to salvage the motherboard.. seeing how much water damage was done just in the first few pics of it..
Hi! Yeah, in retrospect, I see it exactly like you. ;-) I would do it differently these days... 😉✌🏻
Dude. Thank you so much, this video saved me.
Glad it helped! Merry X-Mas! 🙌🏻✌🏻
which resistor i need to put in the breakout board for 12v?
Hi! You need another board to trigger a specific voltage: A USB-C Trigger Board; you can use it for a particular voltage inside the USB-C specs. If this topic is interesting, could I make a video about it? ✌🏻
Shame on me. I'm writing my usual comments and not even sending it.🤣🤣 Good as always! Keep it up!!
Hi Sebastian! I thought I lost you 🫶 Great to see you! ✌🏻Happy xMas! 🎄

Thank you very much for the Video!! Fixed mine, it was the same issue. At the device it was written 5C so I think it is a transistor.

Thank you soooo much! 🫶
Naaahh so so job.
We use the same plugs, but still proprietery technologies, vooc, quickcharge, supercharge etc. I still need different cables and chargers for different devices, even if they're all usb-c. Another one for my phone, another for my gf phone, another one is for my laptop and there is also a freaking glue gun that will only charge with some old chargers or i plugged to my laptop. The standarization didn't completly solve the issue
Yeah, you are right; I have seen a Parkside Rotary Tool that has a USB-C Port but only charges with its own 13V charger 🤯
@@CanWeFixThatI have a rechargable flashlight that doubles as a power bank, which is cool! Unfortunately it requires the bundled power adapter to charge which makes it almost useless to me
I always have it in a carrying case so a simple adapter from USB type C to the proprietary charge plug saves a lot of work and is no problem to have with me all the time.
I removed that metal shield on my oled. soc die has direct contact with heatink now. fan rarely kicks on fill speed. even when in docked mode.
Thanks for sharing! Have you found any other side effects? ✌🏻
Please , how to repair PCB analog cracked hole.
Hi petr! What exactly is broken? ✌🏻
Hello, the path to the analog stick is damaged, exactly the X axis. It does not move straight when moving. It only works up and down in the Y axis. I need to stretch the path to the analog, but I don't know where. Right analog X axis 😢
Do you mean the analog stick is drifting on its own?
Dialog od SiE ?
Hi. Can You help me?, I need New Mainboard for my Square off Kingdom set. Where I can I find it? Thank You.
Hi edo! Unfortunately, there is no direct spare part website for the mainboard. I got mine after a support marathon you can watch in this video. 🙈
After watching this, umm I'll just buy the stuff already soldered f that. I'd ruin it like 5 times over while ending up buying all new parts and I mean damn near everything on the board. Huge NOPE. 🤣😂 I'm glad I watched this and know my limits when it comes to repairs. Hell try anything but this really tiny stuff. I see for 1 you need specialized gear just to do the repair. That i don't have. I have an iron from when my pops went to school in the 80s. Lol the tip is probably bigger than than chips so again I'd be fd. Again thank u sir for your knowledge. If it wasn't for folks like you, I wouldn't ever learn things like this. Nobody wants to teach anyone their craft from them losing their job
Hi dmo! You are welcome! I think my initial problem was just the USB-c connector. It seems that Sony uses non-standard USB-C connectors for their controllers where the pins inside are routed differently, which causes me all the headaches! But you are right; soldering these chips, etc., is at least intermediate, and with an old soldering iron from the 80s, it is nearly impossible to do such work. But if you are interested in learning soldering, I would recommend this video of mine: ✌🏻⬇️ ruclips.net/video/2gkLmnuPV-s/видео.html
Found all chips on AliExpress jus so y'all know. Just haven't a clue in what's what🤷😔
Narrow camera angle sir works better for me trying to learn. And thank u🫡
New boards are like $25 so I would totally try all this and more to save half the cost
Thank you for this great guide. My clutch motor was also defective. Unfortunately you cannot buy the original engine. It can be replaced by a micromotor called 030, with a voltage between 3V and 12V. You just have to pay attention to the length of the drive shaft, i.e. 11mm. Thank you again and warm greetings from Germany Stefan
Hi Stefan, thank you very much for this information! Have a good weekend! ✌🏻
Would it be possible to add the Bluetooth mod and maybe wireless charging to this GBA? Still looking for the „ultimate“ SP 😁
Hi Steffen, do you refer to my Bluetooth mod?
@ yep, exactly! I also saw a wireless charging mod in a Reddit forum, so I would be interested in your opinion if both would be possible on the same SP
@steffenklumpp Do you have a link to this mod? In general, I think it’s possible - it’s just a matter of getting everything to fit nicely inside the case. 😁
Funny timing on this video - I have 2 PSones that developed the faulty video output problem just this year
Yeah, I think the time has come for the components, like the caps, to just have enough fatigue to cause malfunctioning. ✌🏻
I put the details of your resistor replacement into chatgpt. Explaining it was 8 LEDs using 27volts and pulling around 500mA. Told it that 1 burnt out and I needed to determine to replace it with a resistor. It calculated a 6.8ohm resistor with a watt ysage of 2w (3w for durability). AI/ML might be a bit of a buzz/fad but for things like this its pretty handy.
Yeah, you’re absolutely right, and I LOVE ChatGPT. Thank you so much for the advice! Sometimes I’m so deep into an issue that I don’t even think of ideas like this. 🤣✌🏻
Aaa first
Have you ever had a device that worked well for years but suddenly just works partly? 🤔
Is that only way to fix is buying new display?…
Hi, unfortunately, yes, because the layer for the pencil is inside the screen, and to my knowledge, there is no way to repair this.☹️
Yo, if we can get this to be its own mp3 player with Bluetooth. Holy fuck I’d spend big money on it.
What exactly comes to your mind? 😁
@ I’ve seen a creator build an mp3 player with an Arduino board, with an lcd touch screen. So I wondered if that arduino build is slim enough for a gameboy SP. emulating or its own UI. A mp3 playboy sp. lo and behold, a video on a Bluetooth gameboy sp.
@__knull6554 That is a lovely idea! Could you give me the link to the video you mentioned? I will have a look! ✌🏻
high quality fake dyson supersonic hairdryer one always has this cable problem…works when top or bottom of the cable bent bit, but i thought i kept using it, however suddenly the cable was hot melted burned and shorted, i saw fire..very dangerous. Better buy the original one
Hi! Why do you believe this is a fake Dyson hairdryer? 🤔

Hey everyone, has anyone managed to install this Bluetooth module v 1.7 to a Gameboy advance? All info on that installation uses the previous 1.4 version but I can't find it anywhere for the life of me...
Hi Christos! Do you mean a classic Game Boy Advance - not the SP version?
@@CanWeFixThat exactly!
@@CanWeFixThat absolutely yes, I really wanna install Bluetooth on my Gameboy advance, and the few videos I've found all use the v1.4 module... I can no longer get my hands on one, I only have the v1.7 !
@ChristosPanagoulopoulos What exactly is not working? Do they have other pin-outs?
@@CanWeFixThat I can't get it to turn on, my guess is that the 1.4 version can operate with less voltage, while the 1.7 is more strict on that matter. So I guess my question would be do you know where to get a reliable clean 5v from the motherboard!
Where do you get those PCB stripes from?
Hi Michael, have a look at this video: ruclips.net/video/eghzHk-_Zuk/видео.htmlsi=HPnVP-xeT76jB5EV | How to FIX a MISSING Solder Pad (Easy) I used them again and linked them in the video description. ✌🏻
Ah i cant thank you enough!! This brought my $50 ps vita charging again! This makes me wonder, why does the 1st channel go bad?
Thank you for your kind words! I'm thrilled that my video helped you fix your PS Vita. Why is the channel going wrong? I can't tell; maybe they made a mistake in the schematic, which stressed the component so much that it failed partially. But his is just an assumption. ✌🏻
Hi, do you know by any chance where does the trace from original 5v line go to? I mean is there a way to fix the main 5v line? I was able to solder usb-c port to second 5v line, it works just fine, but if it dies too - it's gone for good, so it would be nice to actually fix the issue with the main voltage line. Thanks for the tip btw!
Hi! Unfortunately, I don't know. This was the only time I had worked on a PS Vita, and I stumbled upon a known hack. I thought it would be nice to share it with the world. ✌🏻

It is similar to do a medical surgery, but just doctor is doing to a human body not a pcb
Haha, so true! It’s like surgery but with fewer complications… mostly! 😁
Can I fix my with electric tape?
Give it a try? 😉
As if anyone is going to do this.
At least me. 😁✌🏻
does this work for even small, slight cracks?
It is at least worth a try; it is not permanent and can be removed without hassle. For slight scratches, it works best; they will disappear completely. At least, this is my experience so far. ✌🏻
This has really helped me out. Thanks
Thank you so much for your feedback! It's always great to read that a video was helpful! ✌🏻🙏🏻
No keep saying perfect amount that's your catchphrase
Steve will kill me 🤪
Ah nice part 2! I wachtend part 1 and funny enough my controller had some of the same traces broken and after trying for 4 hours Installjng the same port 4 times and ripping another pad than I found a board of a controller my little bro recently smashed and it has the same port and wouldn't you know it works again and I got the confirmation from the port from your video. I'm so happy and now lets hope it last because its not pretty but when I wiggle the cable it doesn't lose connection:) I think you have the wrong charge port though and that was the problem but now it will be difficult.
Hey! Yeah, in the meantime, I think the controller would be back in business with a genuine connector or at least a compatible one. I have another one lying around with a damaged connector; I could retry this….
@@CanWeFixThat you definitely could! It's a shame these identical ports are even on the market if they do t work. I did order the other ports "originals" and people say that they work but will they also work for this version? The ports are clearly different but at least we know that these fake ones dont work. So if you have the same port on donor board than I'd definitely go for it :D
@AA-xm7rt I got a hint from a user who told me that a specific unofficial connector would work; this would be something I could check out, having them lying around for some time, but I have no clue if this is still an interesting topic. ✌🏻😁
@CanWeFixThat yes but you could do it for the sake of knowing :D I also ordered all the ports avaible 2 days ago xD
@AA-xm7rt I will! 🙌🏻
