This Szenario really shows how good openrct2 in comparison to classic is. The simple make new button where it resets the age of a ride to zero for the price it would cost to rebuild it, makes this Szenario so much easier:).

One coaster is missing from here and I can’t seem to figure it out wait nvm the coaster that’s missing is trash anyways, im glad it’s not here

OpenRCT2 has a great quality of life trick for this park: you can pay to refurbish rides (equal to the cost of constructing them) to reset their age. Really helps to just refresh Double Trouble to its former glory!

Wow! Its been a while since i played roller coaster tycoon! A great memory i have is getting picked up from school by my dad, getting into the car and seeing the game on the seat. It was a great gift, i played it for hours!

Yeah I have to agree this is very mediocre coaster type in my opinion However scenarios with a higher intensity interest among the guests make this coaster very beneficial

Even though the handful of such parks I visited in real life all had things like "Food courts", whenever I played this game, from the very first original RCT onwards, I always did spread out the shops. Not because for any other reason other than that it felt...natural. Which is extra weird. Thanks for the video.

I think you forgot the one from Paradise Pier 2. Beach Buggies

One simple early step I'd take is fixing the abysmal path layout. Linking the left and right halves of the park at the back (connecting the exit path of Quiver to near the entrance to Flightmare) does a world of good. I'd also use block brakes and a split entry/exit station on Quiver as bobsleigh coasters are liable to crash.

I’ve never had problems with Mel’s world. It’s one of my favorite scenarios on RCTC. I always build a park that can rival Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio.

It is inexcusable how Three Monkeys park is before Mel’s world

You can tell RCT1 is old as hell if the valley from the first drop to the first hill has a too short radius.

One trick is to set the entry fee to the highest guests spawn with, and then advertise as much as you can. The natural guest generation will be terrible, but the guests spawned from ads will pay the absurdly high entrance fee. You can do this trick with as little as one flat ride and one stall so you can run all the ads

I used to ride a log flume as a kid every summer, so building the ride in-game always brings me nostalgia. Great video!

Not bad, but there is a helix towards the end of the ride though.

The "salty food" thing is a myth, there's no saltiness mechanic that influences thirst.

I like what parkitect did where you need to think about the shipment point and staff paths. It makes this decision a little more interesting because it makes grouping stalls more viable but still has these downsides

For seating areas to lure guests away from a crowded area, food courts are a good idea, at least for smaller parks

Unless the financial gain is large (and apparently isn’t) the 👍🏼 aesthetics of several mini food courts throughout will be the plan for my parks. 4-6 stalls or so per location.
