Just had a question my friend's brother recently passed away he was a machinist and he has a garage full of equipment and lays I think that's how you pronounce it? Would you be able to hook me up with somebody that could do like an inventory of everything so she can sell the equipment, because she's at a loss as she doesn't know where to begin, I'd really appreciate it Thank you so much Eric❤

And "ALL" turn before they l👀k, pull out from side streets without stop to see if vehicles are approaching. Drive the wrong direction on a one way street, or just block traffic, without pulling all the way over.

Great tour... I'm constantly marveling at how much CNC has changed our world, much more rapid development of new everything. I'm officially ancient. Been a mechanic, builder & fab guy since my teens. Used to be new tools or household stuff would come out in cycles of years, now it's months, if not weeks. CAD & CNC have dramatically reduced idea to prototype time. Combine that w/ automated manufacturing & you have the present. Didn't see the date & where you are in your journey to Fl, but I will be... Thanks, & great job. GeoD

Born and raised in Minnesota. Worked for a company on 3rd av in Mankato which is just down the road from Kasota. Drove through Kasota many many times. Very small I was surprised there was any industry there at all. Thank you for the video.

I love when you spun the camera around and all you see is clean choppers being build and it really brings the whole thing into perspective on how these high end machines are built and what it actually takes to build this stuff and how involved it is. We spend so much time just trying to proof a concept and sometimes it just doesn’t work the way you think it will but that’s where persistence comes in.

Four 10 Hour days. A fair few years ago I worked in a shop running the same shift. Monday through to Thursday with a 3 day weekend. It was good. But, If it was a Public Holiday on your working day, you would be paid the standard day rate for 8 Hours ?? A few guys weren't happy about missing the 2 Hours of pay ?? So the boss said, Ok we can go back to working 8 hours 5 days a week. NO one complained after that 😅

Not just manufacturing. Any blue collar skill is on demand because of everyone going a 4 year degree. Hard work nowadays doesn’t pay off like it used to. Qualifications to and quality of work are questionable because those who know are out the workforce.

That is one beautiful shop! Props to Brent...I'm in a similar position but I run Bystronic lasers at my shop. I am loving his Trumpf setup tho...his shop color theme even matches the Trumpf branding 👌🤙

Ted here, Elvie's husband over here in Bohol, Do they even offer any metal shop coarse in high school like they did in the past? I'm okay with equality in the work force but WTH do they mean by equity in the work force. they want to allow people to screw things up just because they need a rainbow work force. I worked in manufacturing for 40+ years as mold maker, tool designer and manufacturing engineer in plastics, powder metal (compaction & sintering) and diecast molding. I started back in high school with metal shop and also a technical school while going to high school, SCROC(Southern California Regional Occupation Center)

Red sandstone (brownstone) from East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Limestone foundation with Granite from Minnesota I believe.
