Hi! I'm Lisa Ann. Welcome to my channel!
I am a Bible-believing Christian, keeper at home, wife of 34 years and mother to six, which I have homeschooled for 23 years. Most of my videos consist of daily tasks, often linked to a study of God's word. Besides housework, gardening is where I spend most of my time. I have been growing heirloom plants and saving seeds for 24 years. I also cook and sew, and share those videos with you when I feel thy might be useful.
I would like to ask you, "Are you eternally saved?". Salvation is simple: We are all sinners who fall short of God's glory. Our sin separates us from God our Creator. By God's grace, He made a way for us to be forgiven for all sins and reconciled to Him. He sent His Son, the LORD Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for our sin on the cross. If you believe that He did this for YOU, and you will trust in His work alone, you will be saved for all eternity.

Those are cute caps and it looks good on you. I like your multipurpose sewing room and your machine. Aunt Judy has Mammaw’s old sewing machine.
@@SherryAustinMcginley really?! That’s awesome! I have both my grandmothers machines (Amanda Mae Beavers Clark and Janie Bell Murray Martin). I had one serviced last year, and I plan to have the other done next. Thanks for visiting!
Nice to see you! Hope you get in a little sewing time during the winter. 😊-Deborah
@@stillstitchin hey Deborah! Thanks for taking time to stop by.
Always good to see you. Have a wonderful weekend. Happy Sewing! 🥰 🎄
@@JustDonnaMaria hi DonnaMaria! Thanks for stopping by!
Oh, LisaAnn this was fun. Thank you for showing us around. Love your sewing machine. I’ve sat by my grandmother a many a day as a child watching and listening to the sites and sounds of that ole wonderful machine. I can still smell the machine oil.🥰 Such great memories. Take care! Carol🙏
@@UpLiftingHome thanks for stopping by. I know just what you mean about the sounds and smells of an old sewing machine. ❤️
Enjoyed the tour! Looks very nice and organized. I've lost my Sewjo and I'm trying so hard to get sewing again. I have a dress half done on my mannequin and sure hope to get it done . Just so hard to get motivated when it's cold and cloudy out....I just want to hibernate. 😂😂😂
@@sewndebisdream6953 I know just what you mean Debi. I’m either full on or full off my sewjo!
Did you make the crosses on the wall, Lisa Ann?
@@AS-jr3so no, one was a gift and the other I purchased at a fundraiser for teens in rehab.

Hi mom Lisa, this is the book I need wholeheartedly. When I am able, I will see if I can get on Amazon in Uganda or I can get it direct from you. Love you all with the family. Greetings and Merry Christmas.
@@obedirwothwilfred2302 it’s so expensive to ship overseas. Send me your address again, and I will find out how much to ship direct to you from Amazon.
@LisaAnnSpencer good. I'm going to send it.
Hi Lisa!! You are looking great! Happy Holidays
@@MichelleGayscienceteacher hi 👋🏻 THANKS!
Good morning, LisaAnn. How exciting! Your book looks and sounds wonderful. I will order it and my husband and I will incorporate it into our bible study together. Thank you. May God bless you all. Carol🙏
It arrives on Friday!!
@@UpLiftingHome that is awesome Carol! I realized I forgot to add a link in the description. Glad you found it anyway.

Oh I would love to have all the greens that you have right now! I can eat cooked greens everyday.❤
I remember this stage of the garden and the last of harvesting. It was fun because winter came and then spring and we get to till the soil again! Have a blessed day my friend.
Hi Lisa! It's so great to see you! I knew I had not seen you in a while and I'm glad you are back. Merry Christmas! I'm taking off and making videos this month but I will be back January 1st!❤

My gardening season ended probably a month ago. And I was glad.😅 They're fun, and very profitable but WORK. I am amazed at all you do, Lisa Ann! I don't want to try to compete! Have a warm and wonderful winter season! ❤
Hi Lisa, I enjoyed your walkaround. Hello to all.
@@cherylenyart7717 hello Cheryl, and hello to your family too.
Beautiful place! I put 6-8 inches of leaves in my chickens outdoor run this year, keeps them busy foraging but we haven’t had snow yet, just the same temps. Stay warm! ❤
@@K_saaar_K yep! We’ve been doing the deep mulch method for several years. We use whatever is available: leaves, grass clippings or straw.
Hi Lisa Ann! See you next year. ❤️
@@SherryAustinMcginley hi cousin! Happy Holidays! 💕
Hi LisaAnn. Always wonderful to see you. I’m taking notes on the things that made it through your freeze. I love the way you have your barn set up. Is there a particular temperature you keep the fridge out there for your veggies to stay fresh? Is there any water in the carrot jar in the fridge? I did not realize how many greens could make it through a freeze. And that winter lettuce looks delicious! Take care…I need to watch your gardening playlist, too. Bye for now, Carol 🙏
@@UpLiftingHome hey Carol! I’m not sure, but I think I initially set the fridge temp right in the middle of the dial, and it has done well so far. There is the tiniest bit of water in the carrot container. I have big plans for my barn. I want it to be pretty and functional. Take care!
@ thank you! I’m sure the plans for your barn will be wonderful.👋
Wonderful, Lisa Ann! And loving the new book! ❤
Awesome ❤
Greetings to you. Your beautiful . I enjoy watching your videos. Love from South Carolina
Your garden is lovely and you still have so much going on for the time of year. Congratulations on your book 😊

Oh wow 🤩 you really whipped that together beautifully ❤ I saved the seeds from the zinnias packet you sent me. They were so beautiful and lasted all the way until last week.
@@K_saaar_K I have been thinking of you and wondering if the zinnias did well. Is life still crazy busy for you?
@ well today is Nov 1 and I am still running in August mode. 😅 I’m hopeful things slow down a bit after the new year. I just closed up most of my garden last week. I have some carrots and different herbs still booming.
Oh your turnips look so pretty. We haven’t had chicken in years, but I still remember those 2 roosters we had. They feuded all the time. Thank you for sharing your garden areas for October.

Hi Lisa Ann, it jenny again! Appreciate your video. I'm still going to a reformed calvinist church. My husbands choice of church. I have noticed some of the things are not quite right as you tried to tell me before. One thing I don't understand and maybe you can help me out? I haven't made any connections with people there. Maybe it's because we haven't told them we agree with the doctrine not sure. But we are not spoken too and avoided so it's strange. This could be my perceptions though. But ive heard this from people that decided to not be calvinists anymore ❤ hopeful to start to grow in our church and reading the bible always x
Hi Jenny, it's so great to hear from you again. That's really sad that you haven't connected with the members of your church. It's very unnatural. True believers in the Body of Christ should have the best fellowship. The doctrine that people believe in their heart affects their behavior. Just something to think about.
@@LisaAnnSpencer Thankyou. Hope you have a great day. Your in my prayers!
@@jennybillen5430 thanks, Jenny, I sincerely appreciate it.
