Even though it's autumn, it's still a pretty cold season, so be prepared to wr...

What is the difference between living in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai and which one would you choose?
@@zelzal_3 Hi! Speaking about living is almost the same in both cities. But maybe Chiang Ran is more expensive, cause the city has a few super popular attractions. My choice is definitely Chiang Mai. This city has a great variety of city zones for almost everything you need. There are a historical center, tourist areas, night Asian markets, natural places and parks, night clubs, big skyscrapers, rivers and lakes in the city center, galleries and museums. The infrastructure’s very convenient, I can get to any place in 15-20 minutes even on my bicycle😀. Plus Chiang Mai is not overcrowded with people. It’s quiet if you want to relax. But it can be noisy as well if you want to have fun😊
@@thelifepagesThanks for the explanations. As for the video, it is beautiful and relaxing 😊
Enjoy watching! 🗺️
this is so cute. Happy late birthday! I wish you many more good years ahead
@@chanahvalentine2278 thank you a lotttt!
How did you do Doi Inthanon? Did you drive yourself or hire a driver? I really want to visit, but it seem so complicated/expensive to do without doing a tour ...which I am not opposed to, but all of the ones I can find only spend like an hour at the actual park and have a bunch of other random stops tacked on - I really like to take my time and hike around and not rush lol. The moss footage is really luring me in, thank you for sharing :')
@@Shamrock17964 I initially wanted to hire a bike or ataxi driver. But my boyfriend arrived the day before my birthday, so we rented a car😊 But you can use the first option. I chatted with several drivers directly (in InDrive service, Grab or Bolt). For example, when you call a taxi for regular city travel purposes, ask him if he can take you to Doi Inthanon. Or you can exchange contacts with him to discuss these issues via text messages (it’s an easier way). I did this with several drivers and the price was acceptable. The cheapest option is a bike. A car driver will cost more + you can’t be able go to any mountains road by it. I hope I helped you😊
hi! I love your videos! I'm heading to Pai next month, was thinking if you'll need to rent a car / bike from Chiang Mai and head up yourself, or is there form of transportation to rent when you arrive at your accommodations to explore the place? Thank you!
@@limjs8674 Thank you for the comment, i really appreciate it😊 You can get from Chiang Mai to Pai by bus and rent a car/bike in Pai. It’s more convenient to go along the mountain roads to any location by bike (but remember to take a raincoat). There are some places that are impossible to drive to. Otherwise you’ll have to walk about 10 km to get there. So, bike is the best choice of transport in this mountainous area. I wish you an unforgettable trip😊
sure, thank you! also, do you have Instagram?
@@limjs8674 I don't actively use social networks except RUclips😊

Pai is such a beautiful place ❤ I am visiting thailand next year but probably won't be able to go here as per planned itinerary
@@kashyap1991 Hi! I'm glad you liked this video😊 There’ll be a few vlogs from Chiang Rai and the surrounding area + from Doi Inthanon National Park (it’s the highest point in Thailand). I wish you a wonderful trip! Leave Pai and other places for a repeat trip to Thailand. In that case you’ll definitely want to come here again😊 BTW, does your plan include a train ride? I’ve seen many reviews of the train ride from Bangkok to North Thailand cities. It’s stunning! I would like to travel this way as well.
@@thelifepages my plan is going to Bangkok after that Bangkok to Surat thani by train 🚂 and then Koh Phangan & Koh Samui
@@kashyap1991 wow! That’s an amazing plan😍 I wish you the best impressions from your trip!

Hello. What about Chiang Mai didn't feel like home to you?
@@StaceyPetersdbspouse Hi! I think it's just the mentality of Thais and the idea that you can never fully understand them. In other ways, it's a place where I feel at home. This idea becomes especially clear in my mind when I travel and live in other countries for a while. I always miss this place😊

living in chiang mai is a dream isn’t it? enjoy ☺️
@@rufakha yep, it really is! I have traveled a lot and lived for some time in a different countries. But I wanted to come back to Chiang Mai again and again😊 I appreciate the people, their kindness, the ease of renting apartments, measured pace of life, quiet places to relax, local coffee in aesthetic coffee shops, sun and warmth almost every day, fresh food and a variety of fruits, the opportunity to go to national parks that surround the city. And there’s also a cold season here, which is the most comfortable for living😊 And what do you like most about this city?
@@thelifepages Agreed! well pretty much everything about Chiang Mai. It isn’t much of a city but it's perfect for me as I’m living in Chiang Mai myself. I hope you have a great time living and exploring Chiang Mai and more power to your channel! I’m looking forward to your next video :)

happy that you are posting again. I will be in Chiang Mai this Friday. Staying for only a week. Would love to hang out and chat about Thailand and full time traveling in a cool coffee shop. Do you have IG?
@@lore.5953 Hi! thanks for these words😊 Ijust noticed that I haven't posted a video for the last month😅 I left Thailand to spend time with my family. So, I'm not in Chiang Mai right now. There was a flood, so be careful walking in the city (choose dry areas). The city is drained in many areas, but still looks a bit messy. I hope this won't affect your impressions of the trip🙏🏻 And speaking about your question, I don't like social networks. I'm active only on youtube😊
Enjoy watching!
lovely! I hope I can visit Chiang Mai in the future!
A lovely video. I heard some bad news about floody condition in the North of Thai Lan. Is Chiang Mai afftected by flood and torential rain right now?
@@linhvuphuong4245 Thank you😊 Floods mostly affect certain low-lying areas of northern Thailand. It’s sunny now in Chiang Mai. It rained almost all day last week. But I think it has to do with the rainy season ending😊
@@thelifepages I'm going to Chiang Mai in early October so hopefully there will be days of nice weather there. Thanks to your video, I listed many more beautiful cafes in CM. Keep it up! 😍
@@linhvuphuong4245 Wow, this’s wonderful! I especially love Chiang Mai during the cold season, because the temperature becomes very comfortable (but it is still very sunny😉). Enjoy your trip to Thailand and stay tuned, because I have more wonderful places I plan to share😎
So nice. The places u are visiting are stunning and it usually looks like there is nobody else there lol is the city not as busy right now because of rain season?
@@lore.5953 It’s true, there’s nobody else except me in these places. But it’s not related to the rainy season or tourist season. It happens because usually people come after 11 am and I visit the places early in the morning. But at other times of the day I prefer to go to quiet uncrowded places. There are so many of them in Chiang Mai😁
hi ✨ thanks for sharing those places. Could you send a list from the places you are sharing?
