I remember playing this with my friend at 7 years old. The dark and mysterious intro followed by the comical introduction of the cast... Really set a unique atmosphere.

I first properly played RE1 a long time after it was current. I knew what it looked like, I knew generally what sort of gameplay it had, I knew other games in the series, etc. etc. But I was not ready for the live-action intro. And I *REALLY* was not ready for the roll call at the end of it. Absolutely blindsided. Upon seeing it (particularly the roll call), I had a specific reaction that's only happened 3 times in my life: My face split into a wide grin of utter glee, and I squealed "It's so *BAD*!!"
