Setup RetroPie on the Pi5
Welcome back to the Make or Break Society, in this video we are going to do a manual install of RetroPie on the Raspberry pi 5. This process will also work on any other pi model but because there is no official image from RetroPie this is the only way to get it on the Pi 5.
Here are the Links and commands mentioned in the video:
Raspberry Pi Imager: www.raspberrypi.com/software
RetroPie Manual Install site: retropie.org.uk/docs/Manual-Installation
Install commands. Make sure to run them in order!
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
sudo apt install git lsb-release
cd
git clone --depth=1 github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup.git
cd RetroPie-Setup
chmod +x retropie_setup.sh
sudo ./retropie_setup.sh

    • @MakeOrBreakSociety
      @MakeOrBreakSociety 2 месяца назад

      It depends on what's causing it. If they seem "squishy" and don't always make the click sound then they either need to be cleaned, re-soldered, or replaced. You'll be able to tell if they need to be re-soldered right away. when you open it up push on them if the whole button moves they need to be re-soldered. If they don't move then ya give them a good scrub try to get ISO in and all around them then while it's damp press them a bunch to try and break any gunk up. If they still don't work properly after that then they need to be replaced unfortunatly

    Here is the method to use if you have 2FA turned on. answer is straight from Apple's site: What if I use two-factor authentication on a device running older software? If you use two-factor authentication with devices running older OS versions-like an Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation)-you might be asked to add your six-digit verification code to the end of your password when signing in. Get your verification code from a trusted device running iOS 9 and later or OS X El Capitan and later, or have it sent to your trusted phone number. Then type your password followed by the six-digit verification code directly into the password field.
