I’ll be there next week for a few hours, sending an email to the local council just incase 🙂 when at littlehampton it falls under ARUN council & they agreed to a 1 yr permit, which was sent out in the post to me, they also let you know where you can & where you can’t go. The thing is with beech detecting you could go back every day for an eternity and keep finding stuff

If there’s been a storm I always look for a cut, or a big change in the landscape it’s normally the best area to check, I also look at where people have likely sat by the ground disturbance or by cans & bottles left in a particular area, I will also do a general search zig zagging & finding a line where stuff sinks, I’ll also do the line where the sand or shingle finishes before it shows ripples or black sand. Hope this helps BUT remember not all beaches are the same! During the summer I like dry & semi wet sand

@keithlee2613 no worries, when I get to a beach again I’ll do that! Videos due up until 2nd are a backlog hoping to get out next week but tides aren’t in my favour so maybe a couple of weeks?
