Yes it needs to be preserved. It has great potential and look at the framework it better than most new homes. Nature isn't it only problem it's mainly people who have no care for someone else's property in this case the old house. This old house still has alot to offer and needs to be preserved and kept as near to it's original layout, interior and exterior architecture as possible. It has nice size rooms too. Chimneys need help to strengthen and old bricks and mortar added underneath them before they collapse. Hopefully someone will save and restore it!

Just saw this on the local news. I've lived in NC my whole life and never knew this place existed. What's funny is my Dad used to work for Western Electric, but in the military communications field though.... He never mentioned this place that I can recall. Looks like an awesome place to explore if it weren't for the contamination. Great video! 👍
