My 3D Print Setup!

The 3d print setup, very messy and not so organize! Affiliate links: 3D Printer I use - amzn.to/3YPfBri
I've sat some of my coated prints in front of a box fan. Sure beats having to wave a hairdryer over them for what must seem an eternity.
you’re not wrong either 😂 a box fan would be way more convenient
Is there any reason not to hollow them and give them enough depth for fit joints? I think by hollowing them, you can lay them flatter on the bed which reduces dependency on layer heights. Also giving some joints with clearance can help you a lot on gluing the parts together. Other than that, awesome work! Makes me wanna try making one but I know it'd be crazy amount of work ;-;
So I learned how to hollow it on meshmixer, the only thing I have a problem with is when I cut up the pieces. I have to cut it in a way to avoid having supports. Which means more parts to print. My biggest enemy is supports on prints, if it lays flat with a wider area, the chances of a print messing up is slim. I always have bad luck with supports. I tried so many tactics but it always end up being a fail 😅 Maybe it’s the cheap Chinese printers I’m using, or possible the settings and the angle of the support I have it at. Oh also I hollow it just a bit, to save filaments! But I make sure it’s still nice and wide to lay flat on the bed! Sorry if this comment was messy, I was texting this on the go haha! Also I do agree it’s alot of sanding, but usually that’s my favorite part of the project and the painting, just cranking some music 🤓
Nice videos pls more more more videos of life size printing🫶🏼
Thank you 😃 and ofcourse! I’ve been thinking on what to work on next 🤓
@@3DPrintOver9000 i want to print e life size iron man mk 85 statue but i have only a pruca slicer mk4😂
@@Stev-ow1gn dang that’s a really good 3D printer. Probably be at least $200 filaments but like 200-400 hours of print time for the iron man, not too bad 🙂 The good thing is you have a prusa, I heard those printer never disappoint, you can most likely have it running for 3 months straight and never have any issue.
Wow!!! I’d like to know how to use a 3D printer and get to this skill of using it
You should try it 🙂 it’s ridiculously fun and addicting
What filament material did you use?
I was using overture in the beginning, but then I looked into a cheaper option on aliexpress for filaments 👀
@@3DPrintOver9000 im in the same boat, anything under 10 bucks its a deal for me! Great work btw!! Did you use pla plus or generic pla?
This was amazing, you're great bro
Thank you brother 🙂
CONGRATS on the completion 🎉👍🏻
Thank you 😪 this one was by far the longest project I’ve ever worked on
Another awesome video! Glad to see updates on your workflow. For larger prints have you tried hollow interiors? I thought maybe the stability would be better with it. You can use blender or meshmixer to hollow them out pretty easy.
Theres a feature in LuBan for hollowing too! Was confused that he didnt mention it haha
I got so used to printing them in giant blocks that I always forget there’s an option for that lol
How do I cut the model like the shells?
I just use the plane cut option on mesh mixer, or if you’re on luban3D, you can just have the program cut up everything for you 🙂
The smoke idea is 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you 🙂 after airbrushing it green, it looked really amazing, to be quite honest, I almost didn’t want to sell it 😅
Bro die NOT Listen to any of the tips under the charmanter Video 🗣️🗣️🗣️ Nah i am kidding, you peobably recorded most of This Video before releasing the charmander Video 😂
He bacccc
Amazinggggg!!!! New video sooner
Bro awesome work! Glad you sold it!
Thank you!
🤘🤘I wanted to do something for a video and, since I only have one helmet class printer, it was going to take me something like 65-75 days to print everything and I Was like uhhhh nah I'm good.
I feel you on that, I’m currently trying to figure out how many more printers I can buy before I overload my circuit breaker 😅 if only I have 3 more, I can make these prints faster
@@3DPrintOver9000 haha right between all of the computers and 2 printers in my office I'm like "well, guess I start putting them in the garage and get a propane heater for the winter..."
Long awaited. Good work!
Thank you!!
Can you make a life sized charizard or blastsoise.
A Life size charizard is definitely on my goal list, to see that beautiful statue sitting in the living room would be amazing
@@3DPrintOver9000 too bad the filament cost and time to print the parts will be so high
Not that good? Naw this is pretty great already.
Thank you brother 🙂
where are you selling your products?
Just to friends honestly, I don’t think I tried marketing myself yet, just been getting lucky from word to mouth 😅
Awesome Video. bro I was certain you´ve got 500k-2Mil Subs because your videos look so professional! Keep up the pace :)
And also thank you! 🙂
Why not use Bondo
I never tried bondo tbh! 😅 this putty was the first thing I picked up and I’ve been using it ever since.
@@3DPrintOver9000 just remember there's two different types. They have a wood bondo and then they have one that's for plastic. It works perfectly and it's definitely worth a shot and it's not even that expensive either
U did great bro
Thank you brother!
It looks great you did great. Don’t be too tough on yourself.
I appreciate it brother 🙂
Brother did I need a experience to work with 3D and I take that a job???
There’s a job I’m aiming for that makes stuff like this!! Definitely need some experience for like manual labor of some sort, but they told me that a little 3d modeling experience really helps 😃
Dude, take pride in your work. Don't say you didn't do well!
Haha thanks man! Bad habit of mine, trying to get better at it ❤️🩹
That take of Vaporeon just after "you can print your own" is not coincidence HAHAHA
😏
Great video! Lots of useful information, and the end result is incredible. I have sculpted a few Pokemon, including a life-size Cubone, but now I want to see if I can 3D print one that’s even bigger.
It’s incredible addicting, just to be able to make something so massive out of these little printers is amazing
What percent is this scaled to? Can you make any model big?
I just research its life size height and convert it into millimeters for the program I’m using 🙂 the only thing I scale is the z-height and everything scales with it
It looks amazing
Thank you brother!!
Are you interested in review laser engraver?
It’s a possibility in the future, I was looking into laser engraver for acrylic in the past
@@3DPrintOver9000 Can you give me a chance? I will send the machine information and you can check if you want.
@@3DPrintOver9000 It is better to provide your email.
Great video bro and you did an awesome job keep it coming.
Thank you brother!
Pretty dope. Im thinking of attempting my own life size build
It’s incredibly addicting, I wish you many incredible statues 🙂
Hello!!Your video are amzing!!!! I want to collaborate with you! Could you give me your email so I could send you the details?
this is awesome bro. keep it up
Thank you brother 🙂
So you’re telling me I can make a life size Rayquaza?
Even with just one little printer. You can make a massive life size Rayquaza 🙂
What’s a good size printer to to make life size ?
The Printer I use is called sovol svo6 plus, but any printers can work 🙂 300x by 300 is the size of my printer
FANTASTICO!!! Well Done!!!
Thank you 🙂
You did a great job
That looks amazing!
Thank you for video
Amazing ❤
Love the videos, keep posting
Nice job
great video bro, I'll need to try how to paint a 3d print, so far I haven't painted anything, I'm just starting
It’s my favorite process 🙂 I love seeing the before and after
Super cool video! ❤
honestly, this vid is more insightful than most 3d advice stuff on YT
I appreciate that man 🙂
Beginner or not bro you did an amazing job. I’m completely jealous. I need to do some 3-D printing myself. I love Pokémon and you just inspired me to make them this big.
Thank you 🙂 and you should try it! I’m hoping to try out some big anime figures one day
Thank you for such a helpful and inspiring video!💖
You are so very welcome! 😊
Nice Work! i like your filming style, feels more natural! cyndaquill is one of my favorite!
