Nice set up. 2wd is fine...I owned a 2003 Tacoma 2wd for years until I upgraded to a Tundra...but I loved the 2003...No issues.

2wd isnt necessarily bad for texas. You have the foundation for doing a prerunner build. Maybe some glass fenders & a long travel kit. Something similar to desert dime

It just goes to show how fast shit can add up. I also got a 2.5 gen and your video got me thinking about how much I've put into mine and after i hit a point i just stopped counting cause it was getting too high and realized I'm happier not knowing lol. And I didn't even have labor costs cause I've done everything myself so far. The supercharger alone is a pretty penny never mind everything else I've done and the countless hours I've spent installing and doing custom work to address issues i had that had no commercial solutions at the time. What year and how many miles you got?

Never even considered weight of all the oversize tires I have had. Always blindsided by height and aggressiveness but being older being more aware of tire effect on normal everyday street driving.....thinking 285/70/17 or 285/75/17 is what I'm sticking with in my world as acceleration, braking, responsiveness and, gas milage play more of a factor now than running even a 35 after seeing that weight difference

I’m curious what leds you got? I’ve had no problems when I buy LEDs for my truck, now of course I didn’t get alpha headlights They were different brand but still fit properly and man it’s crazy bright. The main thing is the projector is what you want way better than the reflector style headlights.

No wonder why man. I thought my headlights didn’t come with turn signals but turns out it’s not working
