In honor of Pride month next month, I had to watch this movie, because so many people are gone because of hate crimes. No one deserves death due to who they were. And who they love. Love should be an open act for all couples. And people should be able to live their lives regardless of who they are. People don't deserve to die because other people feel sicken of their lives. Gwen didn't deserve to die because those guys hated her.

I live in the city that 49 People were Murdered and the Club is a Very Heart Hurting Memory still as if it happens the day it happened. Hate. Pure HATE

This movie was on the background while my mother did the laundry I forgot most of the movie but I didn’t forget the mom’s speech at the end. It was that powerful. This movie came out in 2006. And I still remembered off hearing that speech one time

Those bikers remind me of some Hells Angels I met when I was a little kid at a bike rally camp. Had a nightmare and went out of my tent looking for my parents. A small group pulled up and gave me a ride to the main to the main tent where my mom was, even got me an ice cream and a teddy bear to make me feel better. Grew up to be a biker just like my whole family, and still do charity work with all of them.

When the biker offered for him and his crew to escort Gwen to the church I cried. There really is good people out there. Gwen was loved by so many. So horrible how her life ended and for what??? Just because she was a he but wanted to be a girl? SHE WAS EXPRESSING HERSELF THROUGH WHO SHE REALLY WAS. So sad that she trusted those people and they turned on her and brutally murdered her. She didn’t deserve any of this. AND IM HAPPY THAT SYLVIA LEGALLY CHANGED EDDIE NAME TO WHO SHE REALLY WAS “GWEN”. Rest In Peace Gwen we love you.

There is a scene missing. Where Gwen meets the motorcycle gang at the convenience store; just before she is attacked. I am wondering what else was omitted. Sad story that should never have happened. He was a good and loving and forgiving kid. Because these pendejos are insecure with their own sexuality they beat Eddie/Gwen.
