I just switched from 1080p to 1440p on a OLED monitor and omg I will never go back to 1080p!! The OLED also makes them colours pop so nicely

People don't get it they think they need 500fps to win haha or for an advantage which isn't true. The 1440p will help with draw distances it will help with alot more then just frames. 500fps doesn't change the human reaction speed or time. It's placebo. Then they show slow motion videos to prove a point and it's like yes but we are human we cannot see that in normal time nor can we change our reaction to it. Once you get to 144hz and 144fps thays about all you need and you can compete at the highest level. Just allows for it to be smooth that's it. Then good resolution helps with site and it Just makes sense. Good thing is now cards can get 240fps 1440p ultra no problem in games like cs go. So no biggie get you a 240hz panel and enjoy if you want to push it amd go over 300 go ahead even though it's not needed.

Tbh we're definitely in the age where 1440p competitive monitors are more than good enough and modern PCs can run comp games at framerates that work just fine on that resolution. I'd recommend upgrading as well. Been using a 1440p 240hz for a year or two now and it's awesome.

Yes you can play 2-4k & 24+ inch, but it’s Makes huge difference when it comes to Better seeing, Better reacting, And having ideal pixel skipping :/ U don’t need fancy nice looking screen to perform better, u need speed to perform better. Maybe shroud himself have some eye disability? Can’t see normally ? And his mice choices are dogshit man, if u have LogiT mouse and then u need fucking LogiT mousepad and keyboard to perform better ! I play 21:9 2560x1080. Yes its not as wide but you barley have to move your mouse for recoil control

I was craving 1440p for so long and was expecting something like what shroud is talking about, but surprisingly 1440p doesn't exactly feels "clear" for me, it's more of "there's no aliasing, no blur and everything is a little bigger on 27" ", in other words, it really feels like it should be "default" resolution. You forget that you've switched the next day but you also don't see aliasing and blur. I remember myself being annoyed with the blur in Doom Eternal but it's no more a problem
