I make reviews and countdown lists sometimes.

It's spooky season again and that means it's time to talk about another spooky anthology series. This time we're counting down my favorite stories from the Twilight Zone's less celebrated but still fairly worthy successor, Night Gallery.

I hope you'll still enjoy it and maybe be encouraged to check out a show or two that you might have flown under your radar last year. (I actually uploaded another version of this video less than a day ago, but I had to go back, fix a thing or two, and upload the fixed version. This is why proofreading is so important, my friends.) Anyway, this time I'm spotlighting another great anthology series, The Outer Limits. Enjoy as I count down my personal favorite episodes of this sci-fi classic from the 1960's. #top10 #theouterlimit...

I loved Abra Cadaver.
Good selection of episodes! I kinda like some of the quicker shorts too. Like "Witches' Feast" and "Room for One Less". Plus "Cool Air", "Green Fingers with Elsa (Bride of Frankenstein) Lanchester and "A Feast of Blood" w Sondra Locke.
I did enjoy the Christmas episode in both the original and remake
A feasibility study. Didn't they remake that?
@billcox8870 They did indeed. The 1995 revival series actually had a few remakes of classic Outer Limits episodes, including I Robot, Nightmare, and The Inheritors.
@TheAdorkableRJ I didn't see all of the original. The episode from the remake was the only one that I could remember. I did enjoy the original series even though I didn't see them all. I also enjoyed the relaunch in the 90s
Too bad Ecole Du Ciel was axed and discontinued
“The Shadow Man” scared the shit outta me for a looooooong time.
You have a few good ones on your list but 6 of them are a big no for me including your number 1. Most of your honorable mentions are better than the 6 I mentioned from your actual list. but I know this list is subjective so it's all good.
Hydrate pleasure of speaking with Mr. William Wyndham about this episode of night, Gallery
wordplay, Button Button, and a message from charity are three of my favorite episodes of the 1980s twilight zone. "Why are you saying, dinosaur?"It's lunch, the word is lunch!" "I bet your search for marks are a long and thorough one." "For the wicked are swift and cunning, now take off thy froth!" You'll hang for this charity payne!!! "C'mon Arthur!, people die every day all over the world! "Norma!, what if it's someone's newborn baby???" I love the actress that plays Norma in this episode. She nailed playing a bitter poor trailer trash, nagging wife to perfection! Fun fact: The actor who played Arthur in this episode died of aids a couple years later after playing in this episode. I grew up watching this version being a Gen xer. Born 1973, I was a preteen watching these episodes in the 80s on channel 9 on the east coast after watching the Arsenio Hall show. And yes, loved watching them on my brother's CRT TV! I have the complete DVD set of twilight zone 1985. Brings back so many memories!
My favorite is the guy who wanted to get into the boat painting in a museum, but someone changed the paintings!!
My favorite episode is the one no one ever talks about. It’s the one with the mermaid and the captain of the ship who is in love with her. He wants to make her human. That ending scene is absolutely haunting .
Bought myself the dvd collection last year! Excellent show!! It was one of my favorites as a kid
"The Earwig" and "Big Surprise" (the latter of which starred a very creepy John Carradine) scared me half to death as an 11-12 year-old!!
I was a child in the 70’s believe me brother, late at night the opening music from “The Night Gallery” alone was enough back then to give you the willies.📺
Amen, sister!!
It's about time fitting punishment made it to a top number
I remember all these episodes. Thank you so very much for sharing this.
My pleasure. Glad you enjoyed it!
I remember "The Cemetery" scared the crap out of me. I was about 13 or 14 years old and that story really hit hard.
A great Favorite list..........the only one I don't care for is They're Tearing Down Tim Riley's Bar
#13 sucks!!!
We control the horizontal, we control the vertical....
Pillow Talk was one I had been looking for for a long time. I had seen it as a kid, and couldn't remember if it was Tales From the Crypt, Tales From the Dark Side, Ray Bradbury Theater, or Monsters. Definitely deserves an honerable mention.
me: *hearing the description of a message from charity* oh, that's cute! kind of out of character for the twilight zone-- rj: but she tells the neighbours too much about what she's been seeing me: *immediately remembering she's from the 1700s* and there it is!
The Cemetery gave me nightmares.
'Corpus Earthling' scared me good, just like the first episode did.
The one that really got next to little kid me was "Don't Open 'Till Doomsday". Eeek, still gives me the creeps!
The paintings are what we remember on the show.I remember when the sun ☀️ either, exploded,or became a star, because, people in the background were shouting, and upset.😢 A little kid 🧒 portrayed a newsman,as well.I think,🧐 this confused 😕 me as a fourth grader?
What do you think of these episodes? The Waiting Room The Return of the Sorcerer The Late Mr. Peddington Rare Objects The Girl With the Hungry Eyes Make Me Laugh
This Steeler fan recognized Franco Harris in where’s the rest of me?
all thru the night was my fav
Who has "yellow" leaps and bounds above other episodes? WHO!??! lol I've never heard that episode ever come up in the conversation once
I Robot was written by Isaac Asimov
Asimov's ''I, Robot'' is a 1950 collection of sci-fi short stories that he wrote. But the ''I, Robot'' that the Outer Limits episode adapted is another story written by Eando Binder and published in Amazing Stories magazine in 1939. To be even more accurate, the Outer Limits episode was actually based on not just one, but the first two of Binder's stories to feature the robot character Adam Link.
@@TheAdorkableRJ Thanks.
Whether it's Tales from the Darkside, 80's Twilight Zone or Monsters, these TV shows deserve to be provided in the highest definition possible. Shocking how the older of these TV anthology series, that is the og Twilight Zone (60's), looks so amazingly crisp on modernHD TV's. These are painfully sad to watch in their current state of several generations of compression.
I was a kid in the 80s when this iteration of The Twilight Zone aired; the ending to "A Little Peace and Quiet" HAUNTED me. To this day I still occasionally have that ending pop into my head. "Wordplay" is another favourite episode of mine. While it's a lighter episode, its always stuck with me. As a kid I thought it was just a cool, weirdo scenario; as an adult, I can empathise with the sentiment that life in an ever-changing world can be a scary thing to be constantly trying to adapt to.
FOR. YOUR. INFORMATION. SIR. ( MY GOOD MAN ) I WAS. BORN. IN 1963. I. REMEMBER SEEING ALL OF. THESE. NIGHT GALLERY. SHOWS / ESPISODES. I. REMEMBER. THEM. ALL. AND STILL LOVE WATCHING. THEM...
Always had a soft spot for “man with a glass hand”…
Correction :Devil with a glass hand..
Hey I love the Outer Limets
Great video I also love the episode which was sort of like King Arthur I think you mentioned it Worcester Lancelot is forced to just wander the Earth
Great video just a little peace and quiet also starred the same woman that was in the mom and the Christmas story
The Feverman and Pool Sharks are my favorite episodes
When I was 8 years old I would watch these on TV Saturday afternoon man they would freak me out.
Great show from my youthful days
Its world war 1 on the episode yellow sir.
Yellow was set during world war one cuz....
I didn’t know about this series. Thank you for sharing.
That's what I do here :)
Carrion Death. It took me almost a full minute to get that.
Thanks for talking about night gallery I like thinking about this show.
There were a couple of good episodes but, it was nothing like the original.
To this day, To See the Invisible Man still makes me tear up a bit. And I of Newton is, indeed, funny as hell. (See what I did there?) I'm a bit surprised neither Button, Button, Dead Run nor A Small Talent for War made this list. But it speaks well of the series that different episodes speak strongly to different people. I think Serling would give the series a thumbs up. Sadly, the 2019 TZ is borderline unwarchable.

Miss Chiller TV! Best late night shows!
Same. Chiller was where teenage me first watched some of my favorite horror anthology shows.
The reluctant vampire was always one of my favorites
