You can use an iPad with the Navtronics app. These also come with mounts to put anywhere on the boat but they do need wiring. You can also get a smaller handheld. If you want a link to my recommendation for the handheld let me know. Hope this helps 🤙🏼

I have (4) 6.5s and (2) 8s on the Skar 1000 and (4) 6.5s on the Skar 500. If you are going to run the 8s I recommend the 1000 as they need the power. If you do (4) 6.5s you can do the 500.

It’s a great question. I highly recommend not doing that. Internal amplifiers on head units aren’t made for that type of application. You would more than likely fry it. It can handle up to 40 watts per channel at 2 ohms if you want more power but bridging it is not the way. What you need to do is parallel wire the speakers if they are 4ohm down to 2ohm.

Yes, it is for towing and mooring as well.

That is definitely something to think about for sure and for most this is a great option.

I only use mine in saltwater. I am here in Treasure Island, FL. No issues with sea grass for me in over 4 years.

To be honest I’m more than happy with the power. Unless you plan on having 6+ people on board at all times it’s plenty of power. When you get to the 6 or more people is when you loose a little power but still running mid to high 30s with gear and passengers. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching 🤙🏼

With iPhones they don’t let you do that but with Androids you can. For the single battery kit you need the cable to power the other speaker. If you get the dual battery kit no cables needed. I hope this helps.

Thank you 🙏🏼 as for the length of play that all depends on your setup. All you have to do is find out what your amp draw is and divide your amp hours on the battery/batteries by that. So if you draw 20 amps playing your system and whatever other electronics you are using and you have a 100ah battery setup you should get almost 5 hours minus drop off so more like 4 hours. If you are drawing 50 amps then it would be almost two hours. These are of course without charging. I hope this helps. Also to increase playtime you just add batteries in parallel to add amp hours.

I am not familiar with that boat but that typically indicates either a sensor like oil pressure or something to do with an engine component that needs immediate attention.

Only thing I can say is the price is that low for a reason. I wouldn’t recommend them but it all depends on your budget and what you want out of your sound.

I don’t have them but have installed them for customers. They are decent speakers. If you’re upgrading from stock they will sound better but make sure to add an amp as well to really bring them to life. What source unit are you using?

Yes that will be fine. I am running that amp like this: my two 8s on channels 3&4 standard wiring one to each channel then I have my four 6.5s on channel 1&2 wired in parallel. As far as gains they need to be tuned separately. You also want to tune your frequencies separately unless you’re wanting to run them all full range like I have mine. PS you don’t turn gains down to compensate you tune them.

@@NoahDever ​​⁠ try it yourself first but if you struggle then take it to professional. Remember to start with all headunit levels flat and no boosts on with volume at 75%. Start with gains on amp all the way down then adjust up to point of distortion then back off until distortion is gone.

These by far. The Skars are only 6.5” and way less powerful. They aren’t even comparable as they are two very different setups. The skars are in a large 10 speaker setup. The setup I have is much louder than these but if you were deciding between just the Skar 6.5s in cans versus these then there’s no comparison and these are the way to go.

As far as the speakers the 6 1/2 inch Skar audios would be a decent sounding system, but you should definitely put them on an amp. Also do not get a pile head unit. They are terrible head units. I always recommend starting with a new head unit and building the system as you go if you can’t afford it all at once but if you use a terrible head unit you’re just amplifying terrible sound and usually are overworking the amplifier. Your audio starts with the head unit then the amplifier and speakers. If you’d like me to send you recommendations let me know.

No, the bilge pump is for standing water in your hull. This is for flushing the internal components of your engine cooling system.

@@THEFSHDUDE got it. Thanks. The other day I flushed the engine s and steam was coming out and water dripping from the back was hot. Few days later I flushed them again and no steam whatsoever. Do you know why that could be?

@@ralphv.5026 that’s normal, the water is hot because it’s absorbed the engine heat. That’s how your motors are cooled. Sometimes it steams sometimes it doesn’t .

I just want to make sure I can hear the music just fine while driving on the highway at 70-80 MPH. So I know the RMS for the speakers needs to be at least 100 watts. I don't want the amp to be too large for limited space issues. If you have 2 or 3 recommendations for each speaker and amps options that would be great, sir. 👌

​​$350 to $500 range total for the amplifier AND speakers combo would be nice. I can go a little higher if I need to, but I prefer to not max past that range if I can avoid it. This is NOT including the amplifier kit as I know that that will be an extra cost no problem. I would like to have 4 speakers that are 6.5" down the road, but as long as I have "at least" 2 speakers that are 6.5" that sound great and crisp, I will be happy. Big mistake. This is not salt away, this is salt off. Here are the instructions from the manufacturer for you knowledge: Flush & Protect 1. Attach Salt Off Applicator to a garden hose and the other end to a flushing unit designed for your engine type. 2. Turn black knob clockwise to ON. 3. Turn blue knob to WATER ONLY. 4. Start engine. Run until normal operating temperature is reached. 5. Turn blue knob to MIXTURE. Solution should be flowing. 6. Allow to run until solution is used and dispenser cup is clear.

I plan on it. It just takes a lot to plan to film at night especially with a family and keeping everyone safe.

There could be a few problems first being water pressure if you do not have enough water pressure from your hose It won’t come out the side next would be clogged ports sometimes the port gets clogged by insects and lastly, you could have an issue more major like engine issues the first thing I would start with the hose pressure and go from there.

You can leave these on. Also, you don’t need to unbolt them because the speakers have quick releases. Only reason you’d need to unbolt the clamps is to install them on something else.

You can go with all 8s if you go with the 150.4 (1000) amp which I highly recommend. If you go with the 75.4 (500) then go with two 8s and two 6.5s
