Basso has a lovely voice, but I don't think this manner is suitable for this passionate, heroic aria. Ewa Podles (may she rest in peace), even if many people think that her voice was too heavy for Baroque, owns it, and no one ever will be close to her!

핸델 주님의 아드메토의 늪에 빠져 매일 허우적거리기를 벌써 반년이 훌쩍 지났군요. 주여 저를 이 늪에서 하루 빨리 구원하여 주소서. 300년 전인 1727년에 이런 아름다운 작품을 누린 런던 시민들이 정말 부럽습니다. 핸델 주님께서도 녹음 기술의 발전으로 300년 후 지구 반대편의 어느 나라의 골통이 핸델주님에 삼켜져 정신 못차리고 살았을 것이라고는 생각못하셨겠지요.

Nice performance, largely free of the excessive dynamics and sforzandos prevalent in many Vivaldi recordings, but I do wish that someone would ask audiences in concert or opera performances to wait until the musicians have actually finished the piece. An aria is only completed when the orchestra has finished, not immediately after the singer has stopped. Almost as irritating are those who like to demonstrate that THEY know the music by bursting into applause a split second after the last note of a piece, but I suppose I am hoping for too much to expect a decent second or two of silence.

Se me ocurre una LECCION DE CANTO. Derroche de técnica, seguridad y belleza, en un aria que estoy segura, desafía a cualquier cantante. !!
