i like this guy he has the same ideas its mopar or no car ive always had challengers but id like a me a old square body truck preferrably 70-91 i daily drive a 22 ram which once i get my old truck i wanna pain the same color with a 440 in it

i want one atm looking at a 88 and i have a 67 440 as i have 7 blocks just there id like to swap into it as tribute to my dad he never had one but he always loved mopars which he has his 71 challengers.. id like a dart or challenger but those are super hard to find ..i like the appearance of the trucks

Sounds very healthy ! Looks great 👍 I just picked up a 1986 D150 Ram , super straight and clean body not a speckle of rust , all in tact and original .That’s half the battle right there , nothing needs to be done with the body . Has a 318 and a 727 ( factory tow package truck ) but I just found an old 383 / 727 that was said to be pulled from a 71’ Challenger that I’m rebuilding to drop in the truck . And so the fun begins , I’m stoked 😎

Where can I get a rear roll pan like that?

I got a 78 one to swap with a newer hemi but is three on the tree and now I want to leave it stock.

my dad used to have a 73 d100, was manual 3 shift at the steering but he converted it to floor with 2 shifters all homemade, 1st and reverse was on 1 stick, 2nd and 3rd on the 2nd one. it was pretty unique

I have to wonder, was this van once owned by a guy named Casey? I remember a build that was similar, but I think Casey was from Minnesota or something. He built it in 2005 or so, bought a complete 1971 van for parts (including the fender) and got a bunch of parts from here there and everywhere. The 71 parts van was featured in Mopar Action just as a picture as an example of a B van. I believe his goal was “if Dodge had built an R/T van, this is what it might have”. I doubt this is Caseys, but there are some serious similarities. Anyway, awesome van, man.

What in the heck is going on with that van? It has some really unusual stuff going on- The right fender has the 1971 only pentastar. The marker lights appear to have the metallic surrounds, another 71 feature (maybe 72 as well). But the side door lower corner is snipped, something only seen on 78 up vans. The door handles on the doors are recessed- another 78 up thing. The passenger side door post is the older 71-77 size, unlike the 78 up which was thicker. The rear window size- also 78 up. The dash, though I didnt get a good look, 78 up. The grille- 71-73 (though it fit up to 78). Front bumper- 1978 only. The taillights 71-77. My guess is this was a 1978 van that had its tail panel either completely changed over to the older style or the taillights were (and surround) were switched out to the older style. This still doesn’t explain the passenger side door post though. Certainly a mystery machine (like my 77 with many different year parts on it). Id love to hear that van’s story!

Hey bro, what did you do to the front suspension? Drop spindles? Coils? I have a 77 dodge shorty van with 17" rims, I would like to lower it 2 to 3 inches.

The infamous dodge start. I just picked up my first dodge she is a 78 b100 shorty. Bought her sight on scene and drove her home 500+ miles with no problems. Nice d100 short box.

I had the van, but it had a slant six . Now i 1976 Dodge D100 5.2L or 318 short bed. Both are great vehicles.
