this would make way more sense to do on abrams since he has infernal resilience, which can have it's regen boosted further with healing booster. you could afk in lane until you stack enough creeps that they could kill the patron on their own

this isn't even really an ivy build, she doesn't uniquely benefit from this over other heroes. the fact that you are playing ivy in particular is totally arbitrary. it may be the case that this build would actually be great on a different hero.

Wait, excessive hp regen is actually just an amazing form of creep denial since the enemy minions kill all of your minions before they crash on the other side of the map, and you can simply feed a carry on your team with massive creep waves and get them hella strong, this is actually amazing.
