The Price of Oil and Gas - Petroleum Economics
Просмотров 11 тыс.3 года назад
This video briefly discusses the major parameters that affect the prices of oil and gas in the markets, which directly affect the consumer.
The Cost of Oil and Gas - Petroleum Economics
Просмотров 2,7 тыс.3 года назад
Nearly everyone worldwide is affected by price swings in oil and gas. This influence can be sensed during filling up one's car or when paying the monthly bills. It became common knowledge that everyone has to possess in order to understand the cost of oil and gas principles for better awareness of these price swings.
Pressures and Gradients - Oil Drilling
Просмотров 21 тыс.4 года назад
Drilling can't be accomplished safely without a precise acknowledgment of subsurface pressures and gradients. This video discusses the most important pressure types which are: pore pressure, overburden pressure, hydrostatic pressure, and fracture pressure.
Capillary Pressure - Reservoir Engineering
Просмотров 31 тыс.4 года назад
The driving force for oil to enter reservoir pores and displace water is the capillary pressure. It also demonstrates the distribution of various fluids in the reservoir with depth. This video explains the major principles related to capillary pressure and the capillary pressure curve.
Wettability - Reservoir Engineering
Просмотров 17 тыс.4 года назад
The ease of oil production can be indicated by the means of wettability. Water wet rocks are always preferred to be drilled and produced. This video demonstrates the meaning of wettability and its quantification.
Permeability - Reservoir Engineering
Просмотров 12 тыс.4 года назад
Permeability is considered as one of the most important reservoir characteristics. It indicates the ease of hydrocarbons flow and production from a reservoir. In this video, we will understand what permeability is, its types, and the main geological factors affecting it.
Porosity - Reservoir Engineering
Просмотров 9 тыс.4 года назад
Porosity is considered as one of the most important reservoir characteristics. It indicates the hydrocarbons storage capability of a reservoir. In this video we will understand what porosity is, its types and the main geological factors affecting it.
Petroleum Origin - Reservoir Engineering
Просмотров 14 тыс.4 года назад
This video discusses How hydrocarbons are formed. It also describes the basic components that must combine together to form a conventional system that enables hydrocarbons to accumulate commercially.
Sucker Rod Pump - Oil and Gas

Awesome
Thank you for very informative information
There are many countries which are powerful in OPEC organization like Algeria which plays significant role in discussing and trying to make a good decision which save the interests of all OPEC countries. However, these last years, many of members left the organization due to reducing the production which is not in the way of their interests.
Then explain to me why you drill below a water level when drilling for oil in central texas.
Good Job ❤️❤️
such a great video
Oh so the white part in the sucker rod will take the liquid from stationery barrel or whatever is that after entering the white part the oil will continue flow trough white part to the main pipe
Very good presentation indeed. Good job.
This helps me alot ! Thank you so much
Thank you sir, but i have a question,i dont understand the rock,i mean these grains are themselves the rocks or these grains are the constituents of the rock, for example the rocks between each other also have pore spaces and are these pore spaces considered also as porosity or only the pore spaces inside the rock structure are considered as pore spaces?
توضيح ممتاز عاشت ايدك
Thanks for putting this out.
Inspiring!!
Great lob guys
Thanks a lot, it is a very clear explanation
for the first time i start to understand Capillary pressure
Thx!
ربي يبارك بيكم على هذا الجهد ، تحية لمصر من العراق.
Great explanation
Where to find these machines in India?
Is there a difference between a seal and a trap ?
thanks for info
Good
keep going
very intresting
Very yseful; thanks a lot
Thank you
Peace and mercy of God I am a student at the College of Petroleum Engineering I need some information to complete my graduation project When developing the field by adding new production wells and new gas injection wells How can I locate new wells? And I have done a dynamic simulation of the reservoir using the Eclipse program, and I could not determine the locations of the new wells In order to get the highest productivity from the field
,I knew the theory but not able to visualise the thing in my mind how can this happen .now finally I understand Thank you for amazing explanation
That’s engineering 👏🏼
What's the relation between porosity and grain size?
Good explanation👍
Sir, Could you please continue. You had introduced a professional explanation and thank you
Thank you
🐐
how the fuck did i get here
So insightful, as Junior RE, I struggled a lot understanding it in simulation, thanks
thank you very well explained
importance of wettability?
effective teaching
Kollam poli
I love this lesson but please for questions concerning capillary pressure and some step to solve them
Man can you explain something instead if reading for us the definition as is
Hello....why at constant capillary pressure the saturation of imbibition process is lower than the saturation of the drainage process
Nice question. I guess due to the wettability effect.
It was very useful thanks

I like it too much keep uploading these kinds of videos
Perfect illustration. 👏♥ Keep it up.
keep it up, nice explanations.
thank you for this video!
