    What is the main difference between Talon and Raptor ?

    • @LemurKrazy
      @LemurKrazy 6 месяцев назад

      Raptor has smaller cup which means less weight. Standard talon comes with 0.38mm while raptor comes with 0.25mm Juvel has the same body as raptor but 0.38mm setup and no cutaway handle like raptor. All are parts compatible including the siphon TS talon.

    Da nuovo ho riscontrato la duse bloccata di brutto, non si svitava con chiave di adozione e neanche con le pinze morbide, ho dovuto metterlo a bagno la parte anteriore in liquido Svitol per 4 ore, e poi con pazienza si e' svitato, ma avvitando a mano e mettendo il copri duse svitando e' rimasto bloccato dentro duse e copriduse, e rimettendolo a bagno e con pinze piccole rivestite sono riuscito o toglierlo, e capitato anche a Lei, questo casino?. non dovrebbe capitare, io uso aerografi da 34 anni di 12 modelli diversi comprati negli anni.

    I use raptor and talon as my main brushes for illustrating even these are great brushes. I tried a eclipse and returned it the next day because these are better. Don't waste money on a name ie iwata. I use badger 155 and 360 for tee shirts murals and the like also high quality maybe even slightly better. But if your set on Japanese the gsi creos line is identical parts and build tolerance made in Japan I believe same shop as iwata. Just trying to help people not waste money buying into the hype. The more practice better the experience always start stroke/line air on slowly pull back while moving then return trigger forward air on. This is how you get good lines and reduce dry tip also buy a reducer I use mission model for all my paints then a flow aid mix 50/50 and use that if it's drying to fast with straight reducer. Liquitex and other art flow aids fine but airbrush type has a little bit of retarder in it which is just vegetable glycerin. Hope this helps.

    Hi Rene, as a long time VL owner, I had to pick up a Talon, which I recently did. Had a few minor things that I had to take care of out of the box. First, the needle felt really tight in there - I ended up cleaning the needle, which may have had residue of whatever lube they use in assembly. Anyway, the brush felt good in my hand off the bat, and I’ve made some mods since. Got the TGX-106 trigger, which feels so much better than the Talon/Raptor trigger to me. I also got the Vision’s Black handle and lid, which make it look so much better too! If you haven’t already, and need a little more detail, you might want to consider the #0 needle/nozzle from the Vision (.20); it uses the same cap as the #1 (.25). Anyway, glad to have come across your review. :)

    Hi guys, I am new to the Raptor and experiment bubbles troubles in the cup when I try to use that airbrush. Guess it is a matter of screwed nozzel (which I don't like compared to floating one...) not tighten enough. I "refuse" to use the wrench and screw it tight (enough I think) with my fingers as the nozzel is big. Could that be the point? I am really surprise of the number of seal that airbrush get... Thank you.

    • @renesaenz2825

      @@renesaenz2825 hi Rene, thank you very much for your prompt answer. Yes, I guess there is something avoiding the air to blow. The airbrush is all new, never poured any paint in, just tried with alcohool to clean possible dust before using it... Well, it may be more than dust...

      @damselinea 4 года назад
