Completely unrelated to the video but I've FINALLY killed the final boss of the Elden Ring dlc it took HOURS AND HOURS but i did it honestly i was just lucky enough to get a stagger and finished it with a massive frost or bleed proc so now i can chill out by watching some of your videos to relieve the pain and trauma it's definitely an experience let's just say that

I recently started a play-through of this game for the first time and have enjoyed it so far. Great videos as always!

This game is really fun. Like you said, very Tim Burton-esque. There's a patch for PC that fixes quite a few bugs. I played it with a controller on PC, and I don't recall problems with controller support. Might be worth trying if you prefer controller, imo

Looks cool. The style of the real world reminds me of the movie Box Trolls

This game has a special place in my heart. Partially because of the themes but also because I bonded over it with someone special. The PC port is ass though but the combat SLAPS and the enemy variety SLAPS and the levels SLAP.

Godwyn was the one killed in the first place, during the Night of the Black Knifes (orchestrated by Ranni). He appears in game, just not as a boss. Godfrey was his brother and one of Marika's and Radagon's sons, he was also the first Elden Lord, as he says.

My advice for Malenia is to fight her without using summons. Summons are basically just free health for her since she gains hp every time she lands a hit

I'm loving your gameplay

Both bleed and frost are nice against her, but bleed ended up being my favorite, because it procs more often and can stagger her out of water fowl if you're lucky. But the trick to water fowl is to run as far away as you can in the first attack, as she'll close the gap, then in the second attack you'll dodge into her, which throws off her targeting a bit, and the last flurry, dodge away again and be weary of the delayed additional flurry. She's very punishable and has plenty of windows for aggressive play. My first playthrough I did the mimic tear, but these days I solo her. But I back then I use Great Stars because that thing does great poise damage to her. If you do the DLC, you should get Milady, in Castle Ensis, pretty early on, and that thing is a beast against all the bosses because it double hits a lot and procs bleed/frost easy peasy. Good luck!

Ah yes Malenia. The only advice I can give you here is that freezong pots blast her out of waterfowl dance. It's tricky to hit but this is the way I got her on my lvl1 run. Tiche is also by far the best summon here. Try to draw as much aggression from malenia as you can so tiche has as much health as possible in phase two. Don't give up! Managing to beat her is a real achievement.

I dont know if you defeated Niall, but try the greatshield soldiers ashed(upgrade them)

A little advice, always rest at a site of grace when you activate it. Sometimes it’s required to progress the story or complete a part of a quest line

Ahhh you made it to farum azula one of my favourite places in the game and I'll point something out too just in case you don't find it but there is a secret boss in that area and it's really cool might be hard though but it's cool I'd definitely recommend you to have a gander at it at least and see what it looks like and also quick question will you be playing through the shadow of the Erdtree DLC?

This seems like it was your first time hearing of Malenia. She is an optional boss but she’s also the most renowned boss of Elden Ring. It’s not a true Elden Ring experience without fighting her as up until the dlc she was unanimously considered the most difficult boss in the game, and for many the most difficult in all FromSoft games

Oh and just like someone else said in the comments you need to rest the at the Grace on top of the Bowl and talk to Melina and she'll ask if you want to commit arson and burn the tree then you progress the game and also you killed the talking jellyfish (oops) but other people have done that too don't worry but what you were supposed to do was summon YOUR jellyfish the one you got from Roderika the blonde girl who upgrades your summons and it would have let you go into that room but i don't think it was anything amazing in there anyway so don't worry about it you didn't miss anything good and good job taking out The Fire Giant that dude is a pain for everyone 😁 Respect 👊 And I probably should have said last time that the Jellyfish DO sometimes indicate there might be a cave or door or whatever nearby but it's not ALWAYS the case though but sometimes it does mean that there could be something to find I think I'm gonna have to watch this whole playthrough from the beginning this is fun I really hope this channel can blow up one day I love discovering smaller channels and watching them grow it feels good

Just a quick tip if you use heavier weapons like your Greatsword you are using it's always better to Two-Hand them because you get a 50 percent damage boost or something like that that would help you out soooo much and you can stagger enemies a bit easier too from the button prompts it looks like you're using a xbox controller so press Y and RB 👍😉 and you'll be kicking some bootay

to get up on top of that plateau you must pursue Rannis questline..........step one is to give her that finger slayer blade.........after that there are six more steps , so good luck

You also need blackknife tiche (I might’ve misspelled that) she’s a great summon and she helps with lower enemy health in fights. Worth the steps to get it

Larry, you are not done in Liurnis aaaand Nokron. 😎 Around 1 hour and 40 seconds in this video, you want to get there. If im correct you take the first 1 when your dus go up. East Liurnis has a elevator aswel, you need to craft bolusses in that area. South of this elevator is a tower, run this tower twice(use your hourglass given by ranni the 2nd time) Nokron. From the grace were you enter the city for the mimic tear. From that grace go North east to a ledge were you see 4 gellyfish and continue your adventure.

Roderika next to the blacksmith upgrades spirit ashes by spirit tuning and takes either ghost or grave glovewort to upgrade...oh! after hundreds of hours of gameplay...just completed the DLC I still press the wrong buttons and accidentally consume HP/FP too 😂

All 'Spirit Ashes' cost a portion of HP or FP when summoned...it's important to upgrade it by spirit tuning at the Roundtable Hold to max level to get the best use of it...the next best spirit ashe is the black knife tiche found at the Ringleader Evergaol in southwestern Liurnia...it's great as is super fast in battle 🙌

Do you have the bloodflame blade incantation? It only needs 12 faith if I remember correctly. It adds fire damage and blood loss buildup to your weapon. It works wonderfully on your Bloodhounds fang, because it adds to the bleed it already has. It's somewhere in Liurnia. I'd recommend just looking at a guide, since items like these are needles in a haystack

Glad you're back Yes Mimic Tear Ashes are pretty damn sweet once leveled up. Looks like the PC is working much better now. Also an Aussie saying Howdy instead of G-Day is hilarious
