Can a 600 film work on Sx-70?
Depending if you meant the box sx-70 (the one step) or the SLR version both work just use be careful with the SLR model since its slightly more delicate

Could an attactment like 3D printed or so help the battery stay in place instead of the tape? If so, does anyone know about an existing one? Wouldn't mind if not doing myself and sharing.
Honestly I've been thinking about revisiting this topic for awhile now it is possible ish depending and I have thought about ways to attach the battery though the one main issue is the limited space inside (depending on the model and era) the tape method mainly is just for those who want something simple but I suppose if a film cart was designed to swap in battery's but also transfer unused film into it easily then that would be the best way I mainly tend to go for only altering film carts instead of the camera itself unless its packfilm or otherwise

The service manual you linked to in other comments seems to have a broken website, trying to figure some stuff out about this Walkman because it seems surprisingly incredibly obscure.

I’ve been into cassettes for around 5 or 6 years now and have well over 100 tapes, only one of which has ever been chewed up like that. It happened back when I was using a shitty old boombox that had numerous other problems, including a cd player that would skip tracks or refuse to read discs entirely and a broken left speaker. So long as you have a decent tape deck and take care of your cassettes, the problem becomes non-existent.

Did the pilot light stop getting excessive voltage after replacing those resistors and the rectifier? Also gently rock the tube in a circular motion while pulling straight out, it's a lot easier.

The iMac g3 was technically a hand my down from my dad around the years 2004ish? i was very young at the time when i got it and i remember messing around a lot with it and having a blast. kind of funny how it can sort of run minecraft- but its 100% getting very very old.

Just did it and it worked!! It's awesome beacause the battery from my last cartridge was still working and it would´ve been bonkers to just throw it away. Also, the i-type film it's cheaper than the regular 600 film 😅
Get a hot air station. Really makes removing surface mount parts a breeze

@@FoxintoshPlus just warning you, they're a little fucked up but they're definitely restorable the plus would probably be the hardest since it was found in a smokers house, the whole inside is full of gunk and i haven't even managed to power it on yet
