    I’m looking to put a 20x9 rim on my trail boss with 33x12.5r20 tires on a 1.75 inch level kit. The rims I’m putting on it are at 1mm offset. Does anyone know if I will have any fitment issues?

    I have Mickey Thompson BAJA BOSS LT275X70RX18AT on my2020 F150 FX4. 33" on stock rims. Factory 2" lift. Heavy tire. Lost 2 mpg with them. Max 80psi. Not very noisy compared to Mud Tires. I live on a mile of a private road in Northern Michigan, these tires get me home no matter the weather or condition.

    • @JMiranda710
      @JMiranda710 Год назад

      You don’t want to chance it on a Trail boss. Since it uses the normal Silverado upper control arm. On a custom, RST or other Z71 you can get away with 2” lift safety. Your upper ball joint is still within a reasonable angle

    John, I have the same truck just with 20" wheels and a Ready Lift Level. Plan on running 285/65/20 in the same tire. The specs/true size from MT seem to almost be identical to your 295/70/18. Do you think I will have any problem running them? Also, did you have plenty of thread left using the 3/8 spacer? About how many lug nut turns did you have before they were tight. I think it is recommended to have at least 8 for safety. Any feedback is appreciated!

    • @johnlorenzo9930
      @johnlorenzo9930 Год назад

      I have the 18” wheels and Zone UCA’s, so I don’t know how the fitment will go with 20” wheels / Ready Lift set up. As far as the 3/8” spacers, my local 4 wheel drive shop told me that GM trucks have long enough wheel studs that a 3/8” spacer is not a problem. 48,000 miles now - no issues.
