I talk to a lot of people about EVs and it’s amazing how many people say they wouldn’t buy a Tesla because they don’t agree with Elon’s politics but don’t care at all about reducing the chances of killing somebody or helping a company that is pulling the industry along in EVs and renewables. They think they’re such good people for basing their purchasing decisions on hate, but I think they’re morally corrupt.

It's like putting a deposit on a set of 100 stocks.....u get money on calls when the stock goes up from determined strike price...times 100 per contract...if stock goes up 1 dollar...u make 100 dollar while keeping ur initial deposit....the longer the time of the contract can be beneficial. All you lose is the deposit if the price drops below the strike price...thisnhapp3ns at a rate times 100 off the strike price...meaning if the stock drops .20..you lose 20 dollars of your deposit...I call it a deposit because it's an amount set aside as a promise to buy, sell or execute the contract. Sometimes the price for the contract is very attractive. Puts can put you on the hook for entire contracts because the person you promised to buy/ sell/ execute could have sold the stock and dint because they were tied up in a contract.

I think OpenAI did good, they released ChatGPT ("GPT-3.5") to bait competition (mainly Google) to release. They know they're already training GPT-4. They're also backed-up by Microsoft with Azure cloud, so it's not just Google vs OpenAI. If/when Google releases its first version, OpenAI can have already answer for it near release. This would grant them basically one generation advantage. They have to just keep it up ahead of Google's product. It will also give them notoriety, if Google takes the bait and releases its product, they can reduce it to a news title of the day, by releasing GPT-4. Everyone who uses it, is already used to it, it would be better than Google. Unless Google releases something mind-blowing that is generations ahead of course.
