I managed the first two or three minutes and I would have liked to see the rest of what promised to be a really interesting documentary, but that background music is so overbearing and, frankly, so depressing that I had to stop. You don't need continuous background music in a documentary about nature. Please think about not using it in future.

Truly outstanding piece of work. Immense kudos to you for your efforts. As a Cornish resident, there’s definitely parts of the Halford river valley that feel mangrovey And I once accidentally got incredibly high while exploring the woods down by Madron Well - and the experience was very much like stepping into a deep and ancient forest. The Somerset forest with 500y/o oaks is now high on my “must see” list Thank you again.

I watch some of this from my yard in west Texas. Truly beautiful

The garden suburbs and garden cities were places designed to keep these traditions and nature intertwined with the urban environment where humans live. Separate patches of natural pristine forests is great and lets of course preserve them but I'm more in favour of preserving the natural hedgerows, garden, trees and environments in urban settings where human life can benefit and stay in tune with nature more. More and more humans are being cooped up in rabbit hutch like dwellings, separate from nature which does not bode will for our children. But money talks as usual...

The first 2 woodlands are regular tourist traps, but the third is - or used to be anyway - a remote hidden gem. I camped many times in that beautiful but unfortunately named woodland from the mid 80s through to 2010, it always felt like going home to me whenever I went. Rarely you would see another soul there. Sadly now the owners are cracking down on people just walking through there even, and certainly no longer allow camping. To me it will always be MY secret woodland.

This media group is arguably better than David Attenborough because there's no film chopping hacking and pasting like what happened with most of the British nature films.

I would’ve thought these existed in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland too. Is it simply that the video is focused on only the rainforests in England, or do they not exist in other parts of the British Isles?

Once called the Cornish Riviera we now live in a wet climate where the well known palm trees have died ! Cornwall has also died ! 😢
