My heart shattered for Isabelle. She wanted to love Heathcliff and for him to love her, like he loved Catherine. But Heathcliff could not. I know how that unrequited love feels. And this melody fits the heartache perfect 😢💔😔

This was an underrated score because this shows that Cathy and Hareton succeeds where Catherine and Heathcliff failed. Forgiving and moving on, choosing love above grudge.

This score as always been my favourite. It captures the eerie and tragic feeling of this story. The transition in this music was amazing to see when bitter adult Heathcliff looks up to the window and saw Cathy LINTON who he wanted to hate and torment but all he saw Catherine EARNSHAW, the love of his life who once saw him with utmost love as a little girl till she grows to a young lady who still sees him with love but moves her eyes away as her figure gets farther away from the sight of a helpless boy who just wanted to be loved.

I could watch this movie over and over. Loved all the music.

This scene kills me everytime. Not sure what to feel for heathcliff. Joy? that finally he will be with cathy or pity that he need to end his life to feel loved again
