Appreciate it! My first time using a sewing machine, your vid got me up and running

Hi, i'm not very bright. So at 4:35 you connect the thread (that comes from the top bobbin) to the needle and then add a different bobbin at the bottom, separate to the one on top. I'm a bit lost, could you explain? Where is the thread coming from? Thank you so much!

I just purchased this machine to make simple sewing at home. I dont know absolutely nothing about sewing but i find its very tedious to sew by hand only and that was main reason .

Now nearly the end of 2023 , in Australia here these male manikins are anywhere from over $300 to over $400 and something Dollars , need less to say I won’t buy one anytime soon , maybe looking for a second hand one as people sell these when they don’t use them anymore. 👍

I found the video very helpful but at a point you stopped explaining. I would like to know what the different foot are called. It is only when you were finished that I understood it was for a button hole. What do you call the blue thingy next to the foot?
