This doesn't even fit in the Milsbo display case. It's not a width issue. There are plenty of display cases that can accommodate 15" horizontally, but 15" depth? I've never seen it. At least not outside of maybe a Moducase or Terravault.

The audacity one must have to claim that "you can barely tell the difference honestly"...are you good, my guy?? lol TF YOU CAN'T. When I first started collecting, I wasn't aware of the artistry that came along with scale figures so I bought two aliexpress figures and the differences are IMMENSE....you have to hav absolutely zero standards to claim they are good figures. I never bought bs figures again, not only due to the wack af quality, but most importantly because I have dignity and I respect artists, art, and their livelihoods because it's becoming harder and harder to earn a living from art, no thanks to people like you. DO BETTER. Think prior to doing something.

I also hope that the Mona Garage Kit gets an official licensed figure. I prefer the pose of the garage kit to the one from the standard Mona figure. But a professionally finished garage kit Mona is super hard to get, and when it pops up, it usually goes for over $2k.

Silver Wolf's eyes are definitely too far apart compared to the character and official figure, that was the deal breaker for me when it came to the bootleg. When it comes to buying figures with or without a box on Aliexpress, it doesn't really impact shipping durability. What they mean is do you want the "official" looking box, or do you want it just packed? They don't protect it any less. I almost always choose no box and they still come in their blister packs wrapped in air shells and bubble wrap. It's also worth noting that when you order with a box, sometimes they just fold up the "official" box and include that inside a shipping box next to the figure. I guess actually putting it inside is too much effort.

I don't know. If I can get a bootleg for €30 in fairly good quality and don't have to pay €250, it's hard to say no. Some figures are overpriced. I understand the point that it's better to support the artist and so on.

Okay, personally, I love bootlegs. Unfortunately figurines are hella expensive, and the quality of bootlegs is only getting better. They're a great way for the average person to get a figurine.

It's impressive how far bootlegs have come. I've been collecting for a few years, and only bought 1 bootleg(on purpose). It's the Ganyu GK where she holds her bow and butterfly. I really love that Ganyu figure. It would've been a shame to buy the original one and fuck up the paint job since I have 0 experience with it lol. The bootleg one was around 40ish euro? I don't remember. There's 2 versions of it, one that is as you call it 'cursed god', and other that looks quite decent. It was worth the money I'd say.

I mean, it all depends on why are you even purchasing those figurines. Is it for the collector's value, where most of the times you don't even unpack figures from the box - or is it purely for the entertainment purposes and you want some merchandise from your favorite title without selling your kidneys. Those bootlegs from your video aren't half bad, and in the price of 1 official merch you can purchase 4-5 of those bootlegs. I remember when I bought Saber Alter Excalibur Morgan figurine from JP and it was like 300€ for the figure + ~50€ for the shipping. It was in 2019. Right before the covid my buddy bought the bootleg one for 30€ including shipping, from Aliexpress and while it came without the box (it was just that clear plastic box + tons of bubble wrap) it was exactly the same... The only way you could tell the difference was a little messy inner part of one of her leg (plastic wasn't cleared right), but otherwise, when you placed them on the shelf, they looked exactly the same, especially that usually you look at those figurines from 1m+ distance, where most of those little details are hard to be seen.

10:32 I've completely missed this detail. Bubble looks practically wet, impressive.

1. The nikke figure was horrendous in the closeup shots damn. 2. with Ako the biggest "issue" is see is as you said the Halo, this is the worst sin you can do for BA characters. Else the painted details are pretty rough. but good enough especially for the price 3. With the Hu tao, its not bad but id rather get a recast of the GK and paint her myself. And honestly these super limited runs are hell, GKs are already expensive with the avarage being 15k yen, but this hu tao going for over 300k yen is outragous. Good Video thought, but maybe showing one or two figures from the portfolios of the GK makers to give a reference of their overall style would be nice i believe. like "this figure ios awesome and they make others like this and this as well" Anyway the lack of avaibility of GKs is hell, even at Wonderfest when going personally its nearly never possible to get any decently popular characters, or figures from more popular creators, this who niche hobby of figure painting is impossible to get into tbh. Thats also why outside japan most people get STLs and print them at home, makes more sense tbh
