I'm only watching this because I want to see if the JP Flash hider pings. This video is way better at hearing the pings since you aren't mag dumping and drowning out the pings. I didn't think I hear any pings in the dedicated Flash hider review, but I can now distinguish it in this video.

The ping don't mean a THANG bro the fact is once you start firing its loud no matter what but the good thing is your flash is non existent that's good for night time shooting!

Magazine safeties are pretty much useless for the casual shooter. It drives me crazy when I need to disassemble a gun, I need to dry fire it but the damn thing won't let you because of the safety.

"Intellectual slacker" - "let freedom ping" - username does not fit.

This is my "knock at the door" gun. And has been for many years. Recently, I bought an RIA 1911 and I love it. A tad heavy, but it's a .45. The first time I went to the door with the RIA, I chambered the round and it was good to go. But, a 1911 requires some effort, to make it safe. The S&W, cycle the slide, then move the thumb safety down. It's ready AND safe. Safety off, then blast your way to a police investigation. But no accidents. The 4516 is a heavy gun for concealed carry unless you are tall and full sized.

I love the A2. A1 carbine was my first ever AR. Nice video man.

I love this video because to me it proves the idea that who cares about some ping? Like for me, I have this hider on one of my home defense guns. All the bedrooms are down a long (purposefully dark) hallway. If they got in, they got in through the very night-lighted kitchen/garage/front door area. For me at my end of the hallway, every potential silhouette is lit up shape and size, and I have no kids. For them if it's 3am and I woke to the bump in the night, they see nothing. The closest nighlight to me is 25 feet away. If you or me is shooting at an intruder in this circumstance, they're not going to be thinking "did this motherfucker just shoot at me with a pinging flash hider?!?!?!", they're just thinking "we/I didn't see shit so where did that come from???". And hell... Loud is disorienting. If you or me wanted to be quiet in the house, we'd have suppressors. I firmly believe most Westerners (aka anyone who's gonna break into your house in the USA) are visual people. So... Who cares what they hear. I could be shooting at them from any of 3 doors down my dark hallway and they can hear a ping for all of that 4 seconds, but they won't see anything at which to shoot back. I have a Sig Sauer Romeo 4 red det on that gun. It's my version of night sights in that hallway.

Jesus H Christ! Test a flash hider when you can see the flash....wait for it...AT NIGHT!

A good tool to use to knock out the sight would be a brass punch. Brass is much softer and wont beat the sight up too much. (Though its still possible) usually just leaves behind some brass marks that are easy enough to rub off

I have a Smith Vortex installed on my AR, but the JP does beat it by about 0.07 Lux. Let Freedom Ping....I like that.
