Mr./Ms./* e1e2t3, as I've already highlighted in the video, I'm referring to a Wikipedia article, not "hearsay" and, since It is all *a news about a movie not released yet* , for sure It is not a review made by a long term Dylan fan (also interested in the details of his personal life). I obviously tried to verify the Infos I reported in the time I had, but for what I've said up to now, It's not always easy to get them and get them in a reasonable amount of hours. As I think It's not reasonable for me to read several books for every video of this kind 😅. Anyway, I'd really like to know if there are some major flaws in what It's been said (not what it hasn't been said), if you could be so gentle to point them out to me and our fellow commentators. At least a partition of them, in case there are truly so many of them. I already pinned a comment where the Pete Seeger situation was clarified and of course I should do it again in presence of other errors of that kind. I hope you will understand. Hi there! Thank you for the feedback. Could you attach a source for what you are saying? In order to let people get informed, obviously. Also, I wouldn't worry too much about this movie spreading misinformation : for sure there will be some changes to the true story of Dylan here and there. As I've written in other comments, I prefer when Hollywood biopics are more related to documentaries than dramatized stories. But in the end I'm watching a movie, not a documentary. I love Jurassic Park but I also love paleontology and I recognize all the scientific errors in that masterpiece nonetheless. Again, It's a movie, not a documentary. And the main problem is people going into halls expecting the opposite. If the major change will be just a different date, I wouldn't say It utterly destroys the movie and all the other biopics ever made/which will ever exist xD

Eh, I know, It's difficult to find folks who have "that" physique du role. I believe that, for how good an actor can be, It's impossible to give back the same vibes of a person who truly lived those years. I adore Chalamet, but I admit that his Bob sounds and looks more like a (very cool) modern nonconformist than an eroded young man from the '60. Can't lie, I find it a nice modernization and since this is not a documentary but a movie, I can accept the fact It will be applied "a style" in a true story.

@@Wrecking_World Sure. From an editor's point of view, first, I really meant to say your youtube clip "was poorly conceived and, thus, poorly executed." I don't know exactly what you were attempting here, but if you were in the same room, the edits are awkward and it doesn't seem "conversational," which seems to be the attempted effect you're going for. The production budget or equipment seem to be availabe. Onthe other hand, in the way that their are no wrong answers, only poorly supported claims. Sometimes well examined ideas go unnoticed because their structure and delivery are flawed. I tinhk it's worth asking yourself does it come accross cohesively to you? If the answer is No, then why would you release something that's less than the demands of your imagination? IF the answers yes, then what might the devil's advocate in the room say?

I had other people in the comments who found it nice and personally I find it nice too. I mean, I tried to do something smooth, fluid, not directed toward "reiteration" (y'know, very well edited clips with lots of graphics and animations). It's not perfect obviously, but my line of thought was : "I am aiming for something simple enough to result in decent in one week/just a bit more". I'm happy you found the production acceptable (since I use AI resources, that's the best feedback I can hope for: being as good as the real thing or nearly). Eh, I admit that the new trailer of Creature Commandos interested me more than invincible, but just because It is a new thing. It's not rare in my case to be more involved in a new series than a new season of a series I already enjoy. About Hazbin, I found it really nice but I was talking about series going to be released after the moment I was pubblishing (Arcane season 2 aside, which is just hours away)

@@Wrecking_World OK, Swift aside there's a big difference to the perception that `pete segar was pissed that Dylan went electric (a betrayal, as the commentators say) and the stage sound on the day. Segar wrote to Dylan, saying he was not upset with the electric music but objected to the poor sound quality. Pete Seeger sent a postcard to Dylan in 1990s explaining that he liked “Maggie’s Farm” and why he was upset at Newport in 1965 - because the sound was muddy, he said. The new Bob Dylan Center in Tulsa has this postcard.

In case you couldn't tell, this was basically a commerical for the movie designed for a young audience who are more familiar with Taylor Swift than Woody Guthrie. By the way, I am not sure this film gets the story wrong with Pete Seeger. Seeger had a lot to do with discovering him. I was watching an interview of Seeger talk about when he was visiting Woody Guthrie, and a young totally unknown Dylan walked in and played a song he wrote that was dedicated for Woody, and Seeger said that they were both genuinely impressed.

I was suspicious when I saw the black guy, but the Asian girl was a dead giveaway. Just typical PC demographics like every commercial, but not the types who usually have any interest in Dylan. then you realize they sound very robotic.
