A rejuvenation prune is when you bring your tree down to its bare structure. It might be hard to do but it is sometimes necessary. In the last week or so. After the storm that blew in with 100 mph winds, my trees have been dropping a large percentage of leaves. So today I am going to deal with something that I’ve been dreading. When was my tree going to start turning yellow? I’ve had a suspicion that it would do this for some time now. My soil mix is robing my tree of nitrogen. Also. So as I was saying. I can’t think of an easier way to make new fig trees. If you’ve got a sucker limb coming up. Pack some dirt around it with a cup or pot or sandwich baggie. Viola! Your a fig tree grower!
