Just from curiosity, did you like ep 8? For it was like:I love you.I don't want you. Ok, maybe I want you. Oh, but I can't be with you now cause your brother has trauma. No, no now we will be together. Painful to watch. Seriously in my opinion Kidnap is one of the worst written drama. Plot doesn't have any sense since episode one. Q fell in love with his kidnapper in one freaking day. Guy who just putting gun in his head? With his previous trauma? Policeman father who don't care that his son living with kidnapper? He obviously knows that. James, guy who is working in film industry but casually become a kidnapper, don't have problem with killing and next day is casually working on set again? Financial problem with two houses?You can't stop working for the mafia, but 5 minutes later, they don't even care if you do? All this breaking up? So messed up. And this cheep production. I think everyone likes this drama just because it's Ohm. I actually like OhmLeng paring too. But I think they deserve better stuff. We had so many absolutely brilliant dramas this year. Gmmtv dramas are so mediocre right now.

The engineering trope has a little base in identity politics and general romance tropes. Leads are often in engineering because they want them to look desirable, in a similar manner to the c/kdrama rich ceo trope, and portray them in a hyperpositive light. It was si heavy handed & overused in the beginning bcuz it was a new genre they wanted to make sure ppl tuned in and stayed, esp since there's a fair amount of apprehension to queer stories.

I really like your reaction and hearing you take on the differences from the book was cool. Just the volume on the show was so low I couldn't hear it and the captions were below the edge of the screen.
