Welcome to my channel! I upload highlights from my Twitch stream here, as well as gameplay videos.
I mainly do Fallout 4 survival permadeath runs with a little SNK vs Capcom Card Fighters DS.
Currently uploading stream highlights from a Fallout 4 run where I'm trying to reach 1,000,000 caps. New videos for that come out Mondays and Fridays at 7AM Pacific
If you are new to the channel or haven't seen them yet, I'd also recommend checking out my YOLO run, Heavy Weapons Only run, or VATS only run.

New Character Hugo Magic Mines = Crazy Damage | Spirit Hunters
awesome guide all the way, very informative and I really enjoyed the gameplay!
I am new in Fallout 4 I got the GOTY edition like one month ago and have barely 20h in the game can u respec the points if u want to or?
@@vigorgaming8 there’s no respec. There’s also no level cap, so you can eventually put points where you want them if you level up high enough. That being said, I’d highly recommend doing another playthrough after finishing the game for the first time. My very first build was pretty bad, but it is fun now to load up that character and look back at the choices I made before knowing much about the game.
@SuperTwonky ty for the info, btw main points are overal 5-6 avg on the main stats, but other than that I focus on armor and weapon building so for the first time not bad I guess, but good thing that there is no lvl cap
Love you content and love the game! I just think that a better and maybe less subjective way to make a Perk Tier List is to put on the S tier those really strong/necessary perks that could go on any build. For example, Lone Wanderer is insanely strong but if you use a companion than is completely useless. On the other hand, Idiot Savant is amazing no matter your build. Than you could put on A and B tier those awesome and really good perks but kind of specific. For C and D tier you could mix with some not so good and some others like the Dog perk (I forgot the name) which is good but just the level 4. The first three levels are kinda meh but the last one gives 10% damage resistance which is pretty good. For the F tier you gotta, just the 🐕 💩perks and that's it.
1 luck? You don’t take idiot savant? That is the # 1 must for me. At 7 intellect, you still get way more exp and level up much faster.
The only requirement for this build is the charisma and intelligence stats. The rest you can do however you want, including setting luck to 5+ for Idiot Savant.
Grape Mentats: -Hubflower around V111/Sanctuary area -Whiskey from Carla/Trudy south of Concord or Wellingham/Vadim in DC -Diamond City Blues quest gives a ton of Mentats & other drugs, just bring molotovs and your best gun -Guaranteed mentats in a Sanctuary house Diamond City: -Those mutants attacking DC guards can be a good source of pipe weapon mods if you're sticking with that weapon class -For the love of god, gun bash Piper to skip her damn dialogue. You will thank me -Take a bloatfly gland to DC Science! Center, pass some speech checks for easy caps. -Find Abbott, he needs paint. Any color will do but getting green will net a 50 cap bonus. Enter the back of the store he marks and sneak. Paint mixer is to the right on the other side of the wall. Avoid being seen and you can get out without a fight. -Moe Cronin & Solomon will send you west to the river. Do Moe's quest first then cross to the opposite bank and head north to Forest Grove. You can find a mutated fern before even getting to the location. Cross back and return the items. Moe's is apparently infinitely repeatable, always the same location and items in same places -Sheng is near Abbott, he needs to clean up the water supply. Pass the speech checks and clear out a handful of junk from the pond, easy caps. Acts as a minor merchant, mostly purified water. Miscellaneous: -Follow the power towers from Abernathy back NW past that trailer, there will be some radstags at the first one and the 2nd one has raiders. you can kill them for more ammo, armor and supplies. -Then with your back to Abernathy turn left and go over that rocky hill to find another dead raider and get his armor and such. By then you should have a mostly/complete set of armor -Overseer's Armguards are guaranteed to spawn as heavy combat arms, great boost to your resistances early on to help make up for the rest of your gear being lower quality pieces -If you're not rushing legendary armor, DC guard armor is decent for the early game. Concord: -Spam leveling to lvl 7, then grabbing R2 of Locksmith (Expert locks) will let you pick every lock in Sanctuary and Concord. -Concord Speakeasy (main road leading to Museum, left side) has plenty of bottles plus a couple rare drugs an End of Dungeon (EOD) trunk upstairs behind an Advanced lock door -Face Museum & turn left, last building on the right. Guaranteed bolt-action pipe sniper on the 2nd floor. By the suppressed bolt action pistol from Trudy @ Drumlin then swap the suppressor to your rifle
You know you could get dogmeat to pick up the caltrops even if it's encumber him. He'll pick up the bunch, the drop one mext to you and that's it, dont need to manually carry it. Then if you craft more caltrops, take them back, them drop the whole bunch and have him pick them up again
I love it man
Can we copy your build?
Great guide thankyou sir
The final rank is op in ghoulish it heals u when u heal.... u become immortal in far harbor
You can get a really good 1 int and 1 cha combat helmet at Covenant. Running back and forth between the drive in and hangman's alley allows you to do some great farming along regular spawn points. Don't forget the weightless cash at the bank every time you head to the drive in. This was a really good walk through I'd never make it on sudden death. Impressive !
At 35:20 you can loot the bank very regularly gaining a ton of weightless prewar money by approaching from the back and getting right next to the broken wall and jumping. Stay in sneak mode to avoid nearby ghouls. To automatically reach the loot inside the bank you'll need the loot detection mod. It also greatly helps you find corpses and special items. Highly recommended. The money at the bank spawns very regularly and it goes a long long way to buying everything you need. If you don't use the loot detection mod you can still grab a lot of cash laying on the ground and in that duffle bag.
Against blowflies at short range fast melee is best or use a shotgun while walking backwards to keep it in front of you. Walking backwards is usually a good idea if you are charged by any enemy. Of course VATS is very useful if you decide to use it, melee vats is best as you will almost always hit it. If no vats just keep swinging a fast melee weapon and those nasty flying beasts will fall. Back up to keep from getting flanked and go forward to close range as necessary. Use a combat knife because it does the best damage for a fast weapon. Pickman's combat knife is really good. I prefer to one shot them at range, then wait to recover hidden status. They can be very dangerous when they gang up on you.
If you don't clear out the mole rat cave at red rocket the loot outside the entrance will respawn quickly allowing you to gain quite a lot of useful junk every time you return to red rocket. You can always clear out that cave later when you don't plan on returning frequently to red rocket.
Don't grab the bobbleheads until after you have maxed out your specials. That way you can use the bobbleheads to exceed 10.
@@MrDavePed It depends on your goal for the playthrough. Often, I know I’m never going to put 10 points into Perception on a build, so I just grab the bobblehead right away.
Personally I love playing on survival. Not so much for challenge, which you can get plenty of early on in the levels, but because with the help of cooked meat you can create the most powerful character in Fallout history without using mods. Its kind of fun to go from wet noodle coming out of Vault 111 to a literal god walking the earth, even though challenge drops off relatively quickly.
Black ops chest piece dense mod saved my butt so many times
just started my first survival run last night and got one tapped by the deathclaw in concord. over an hour of progress and gear lost. brutal
Wow you have some interesting ideas of playstyle, I do like the videos, pointing out why I refer to as infesting ideas, carrying caltrops halfway across the map just so you don't have weight concerns although you could have eaten Ragstag, and drank booze to raise weight capacity and giving some stuff to dogmeat to carry, you could have easily carried the caltrops in your inventory without fear of losing them every time you needed to do something. The other was commenting that you were considering walking half the map from vault 81 to Sanctuary to use the weapons bench when you are only a few blocks from Diamond city... lol I'm sure your play style has changed in 5 years ,but its just fun to point out the interesting choices.
Why not use VATS on those bloatflys?
Great guide! Have done already one successful permadeath run and now am trying to do another one with heavy guns/explosives. Probably died already 15-20 times and I have a question. Was trying to apply dense on a metal leg but there is no more such an option. Is there any change to the game or maybe some mods that I have installed changed that? Before it was very confortable with padded and dense and now only with dense died already 3 times from mutant suiciders.
Pain Train is goated. Not only does it cause funny ragdoll but gives you plenty of time to render an enemy helpless for a few seconds. I love to go around with an upgraded super sledge and power armour, bashing into people and then landing charged hits with my weapon. It’s just too good
You ever get to 287?
Nicely done! It's insane how there is so much content about f4 and then you randomly get a channel with low subscribers count and it gives literally the best tips for survival gameplay. Good job man.
One of the biggest problems i have with fallout 4, is that builds feel really straight forward, and kinda boring at times. Though, I suppose its a personal bias because I come from the remnant franchize, a series that came to incentivize utility over flat damage buffs to diversify its builds and make everything feel unique. Just a personal gripe more than anything. Though, with the addition of a legendary overhaul mod that lets me modularly slot 5 different legendary modifiers onto a weapon, weapon forging becomes super complex and interesting.
Twonky, how about a 'No VATS' build? Lets see what that does to your tier list?
@@Martyntd5 I’ve done No vats melee only survival permadeath and no vats no sneak survival permadeath. During my yolo run, I believe I used vats only once the whole run. My preferred playstyle is to not use vats.
@@SuperTwonky Oh OK, fair enough. Your tier list looked to me like you were giving a bias towards perception/agility/VATS buffs.
I'm probably wrong but I thought you dont need the robotics expert perk to craft robots?
@@technicolorskies5432 I think you are right. I got that mixed up when making this list.
@@technicolorskies5432 though in my defense, it would make a lot of sense if you needed robotics expert
@@SuperTwonky yeah, it's weird that you don't need it. Especially considering other DLCs like Nuka aren't afraid to lock crafting behind perks, e.g needing commando to upgrade the handmade auto receiver, needing scrounger to upgrade deep pockets, etc
@@SuperTwonky I finally got around to checking. As far as I can tell, you only need level 1 of robotics expert to craft the final two tiers of robot parts. So it is necessary to make full use of the DLC, but isn't essential. Especially because you end up picking up a lot of the robot parts from enemies so you don't need to craft them. But for something like replacing every provisioner with a robot death machine, it's necessary.
armorsmith perk is S beause "Ballistic wave", "ultralight", "biocomess" and power armor modifications ,no? Chemist perk is op for food because it affect irradiated food too so you can get extra hp from some consumables like plants, crops , irradiated prewar packets and no cooked meats or foods. Chems like jet get a insane buff of time so the game become easier. Blitz and lone wanderer easilly are simply op. Savant idiot is random and help but isnot that big deal once you get 10 inteligent. ripper perk is ok but depend of other perks too like critical banker and maybe four leaf clover perk to get massive amount of critical hits in vats. If it was Ripper perk and displicent perk then it is op in vats.
Life Giver and Aquaboy/girl are easily tied for my favourite. Both are just too useful early game, especially on Survival. Nab the double swim speed book early and you can just use the rivers and ocean as a makeshift fast travel system that's safe from enemies. Life Giver is a must pick just due to the heavy damage you take from everything early on and since stims have weight in Survival, not having to carry as many is a small but decent benefit at rank 3. Sure crafting and damage perks are what really get a build rolling, but being able to access ballistic weave and a ton of useful gear for minimal effort early is just too helpful. Lead Belly can get bent though, I've never once needed it and even when I took it, it's just a good way to get diseases. There's a double meat book readily available early on so most of the run is usually me eating cooked dog or radstag.
When making a guide you need to turn up the gamma for your viewers. This is a good guide but a lot of it shows a dark screen.
Basher Shredder is hilarious
bruh the constant skips between where u were and where ur heading next makes this a confusing video
im doing a canon playthrough on survival and i had already killed the deathclaw and made it back to sancuarty before i was tired you havent even talked to codsworth yet and saying u get tired pretty quickly lol
i am diing my first survival playthrough. and lead belly and ghoulish where on of the first perks i took. since when i am "to far" away from a settlement and i need water or food not having to worry about rads is really worth while. and ghoulish getting healed by rads and basicly never needing radaway again is an insane combo.
@@florianfrueh3282 it’s just so easy to always have enough water and iguana on a stick or Mirelurk egg omelettes in your inventory, that you should never be “too far” from a settlement without enough to eat and drink. Even if you do happen to run out of food, wild mutfruit only give you 2 rads. That’s such a small amount that lead belly is not worth the perk point investment. I never use radaway on survival, and I also never take the lead belly perk.
Watched your YOLO run again while on a longer sick leave with some time to kill. Still a fun run and a great build!
Did you run out of water but you're already halfway in the glowing sea lead belly is the best
@@pipeosaurs who goes to the glowing sea without purified water?
@@SuperTwonky me I forget
@@SuperTwonky the only benefit of not taking lead belly is if you're doing a undying build and need a way to take rads and you already have the perk aquaboy/girl
@@pipeosaurs the other benefit of not taking lead belly is you get to use the perk points on literally anything else.
@@SuperTwonky it has a use and there is no level cap
It makes no sense to get rid of Dogmeat. It doesn't count as a follower, so it doesn't void Lone Wanderer's benefits. Also, with it around, you can drop your 400 caltrops on the ground and ask it to grab them for you. It'll grab one with its mouth and drop it near you and the other 399 caltrops will be stored in Dogmeat's inventory, so you won't have to walk around carrying them.
@@EmberlynFairweather I just didn’t want him getting in the way for the video, but yeah, it would make a lot of sense to take Dogmeat along.

Bros voice is already zesty as hell and getting on my nerves, no thanks. Must be from New York.
I am with Fallout 4 only since "NextGen" in 2024. In my second start of the game I spend my first points in the luck perks stranger and idiot savant. In the early game any help is nice. By the way, on level 30 I have now 9 points in intelligence and for me the idiot savant EP bonus happens as often as with 4 points in intelligence. For me, companions are nice - they add to the story. Playing Baldur's Gate 3 before Fallout 4, I want to have a lot of story, not only a lot of shooting. Thats called RPG, my friend! My next build will have charisma instead of intelligence to further strengthen the story part.

I know that this guide is old and so the chances of you responding is low, but I've tried out this guide as someone who is relatively new at fallout 4 (have plenty experience in NV, but not in 4), and I've noticed that in many of the combats depicted I tend to be more inaccurate than you with guns (and therefore use up a lot more bullets). which makes it harder to have a reasonable surplus. As such, if a player finds themselves running low on bullets at any point during the run, is there anywhere you would recommend stopping by to restock?
Local Leader is S-tier. Supply lines, build crafting stations, set up stores, clinics, etc. I know not everyone is into settlement building, but LL being absolutely essential for those who do build settlements makes it an S-tier
26:47 After 5000 hours in this game I never knew this was here.
