Fixing disappearing icons and freezing on KDE plasma
KDE Plasma is officially the buggiest, slowest and most impractical desktop environment for Arch! Why did I use it, it looked nice, and since I actually do work on my computer instead of doing distro reviews I never tried anything else since I didn't have time to install (and configure) a new desktop environment.
Here's how to make it slightly less unusable.

Sorry the audio sucks, I ain't got the time to fix it! Transistors used are 2N4401's (it really doesn't matter at all - as long as they're NPNs). All resistors are 0.25W metal film.

Java tutorial 2 Conditions, More types, Loops
Thanks for the vid on how to diagnose this problem, It appears that cold solder joints are the issue. That would explain the intermittent nature of the light coming on and going off. I have dissected a few of the drivers side ones just to see what the root cause is and that's what I found. Let me tell you that there is no easy way to fix these, the board is buried under 1/4" of rubberized potting material. I had one heck of a time dissecting them! -Jason
No match for argument: devilspie All I hear is static in this video.
thanks for warning me, will this be fixed in the future?
fantastic video, this a splendid work of ingenuity
That turd is an absolute American rot box! Get yourself a bus pass or a bicycle☠️
maintain your car better to prevent this
Also you're supposed to disconnect the battery and disable the Airbag system before working on it. I didn't do any of this because I thought it was a waste of time, and nothing bad happened just like I expected. But you probably should do it for "safety" reasons, as yours might go off. Generally though I'm fairly sure the SRS module needs an acceleration component plus the sensor input to activate the airbags, but accidentally shorting pins B and C of that connector might just do it too.
That's some redneck rave stuff right there 😂
So basically it's set up in a way that no major library would jump through all these loops to support it... booo....
I drill two small holes & spray electric cleaner inside then let it dry for a few hours before pulling it back

I would say hey lg, put your money where your mouth is and stop producing cells, you know, to protect customers lmao Its pure insulting customers to say they are brain dead, but I find it just simply funny

aka percussive maintenance.
Probably more expensive than gasoline, but hey, if it works.
What’s going on here? Lol
Rusted out lawnmower welded together, running off propane via a pipe shoved into the air filter.
I thought that gas is more for soldering pipes, then cutting the grass
The 1-wire DS18B20 uses GPIO4 on the RasPI Model 3B. Do you have information on how to get this sensor to work on one of the GPIO pins on the Renegade? We would prefer to use Libre because of availability at the time of this project, but we aren't engineers. X'D
Do your own research, it's not my project and I'm not getting paid anything to figure it out for you, generally you can start by reading the datasheet and doing some google searches. I showed you how to decipher what pins go where, now you can extrapolate that and figure out how to integrate it with the DS18B20. If you're not an engineer then you shouldn't be trying to do an engineer's job.
You need to look into recording on OBS and using filters on your microphone to prevent the background sound in your video. Specifically noise gate, suppression, and gain.,
It's free information, you need to look into giving me an actual reason to waste my time messing with it. I made the video out of the infinitesimal amount of kindness of my callus heart - you got what you paid for.
Can you explain what you are doing here please?
Rossmann
just fixed a space heater with a hammer lol
Replace your space heater, it is not worth burning down your house over. Relays rarely stick when an AC current is applied unless they are severely worn out. This project was a capacitor bank for a miniature railgun, the relays that we're made for AC current only welded themselves together whenever it was charged or fired due to extremely high amounts of DC current.
So it's not pin compatible with RasPi?
Read the datasheet and figure it out for yourself. It depends highly on the application.
Do you have a video that shows how to construct the cable and program both radios so that they work as a repeater.
I have the feeling the QYT 8900 and baofeng uv-5r are the same, at least the softwate, don`t know about the circuit. I bought a QYT 8900 and send it back, I barely can read the screen (characters looks fade out), they claim to be 20 watts, which is not, tried on my car and wife`s car, different antennas, even on my house as station, tried 2 antennas and reading said 4.82 watts in high. I had it to send it back
Lol I have the EXACT same relays. Doing the same thing. Did you find better ones?
That was bought from adafruit industries littlebitwatt account Benjamin litteral
I admit it, I'm secretly Benjamin Litteral. I had to go in disguise to hide myself from the CIA since I discovered the Earth is actually a dodecahedron.

@@lameshithead Good luck with bind9, and yes this is secretly Benjamin Litteral. I had to go in disguise to hide myself from the CIA since I discovered the Earth is actually a dodecahedron.
Don't handle glass, you might get confused and eat it.
change relay with omron brand.
Even Omron realys wouldn't handle the abuse I was giving these, if you paid close attention the relays were part of a circuit that rapidly charged and discharged a capacitor bank for firing a miniature railgun.
used this to diagnose a fuel pump relay on my car, pretty much just fixed my car with a hammer
LG has to pay GM 1.9 billion dollars. I would think that that they want to sell as many batteries as possible.
you still need to replace it.
Hey great video where do I download the Jar Library... Im stuck halfway throught the video. It it your own library ..???
Where did u get the +3.3?! I hope you can help me im frm Phillipines i want to make one of that!!!...
It comes from the connectors on the Baofeng side (specifically the +V in the diagram).
How many volts is the diode u use?
It's just a regular diode, not a zener
Vapers have been using cells for years with few problems, but Chevy and LG can't put a battery pack together that doesn't blow the fuck up? Maybe it's not us that needs the PSA.
It's not a battery pack but bare cell intended to be used in a battery pack with all of the needed protections added. The problem is semifinished product is used as finished one. Vapers had no problems? Tell it to those who were mutilated or killed by 18650 battery exploding in their jaw when they were vaping.
Thankfully, the vast, vast majority of people that would actually purchase cells like these actually know not to make themselves into a PSA by carrying them around while they're fully charged.
Thanks. -an android user
No where do you have a crystal detector circuit. Just any diode does not a crystal detector make. Also the dc output on a baofeng speaker high is 3.3 volts that is not " high voltage" also the current is very low so a 10k resistor will work fine to protect the base emitter junction of a 2n3904 and that is the whole point of a base resistor in this circuit.. I commend you for trying to explain your circuit , it is more than a lot of hams can do today.
Thanks. Addressing your comments: 1) The diode shouldn't matter since it's just for audio, It's not an RF crystal detector. Any ole silicon diode will do the job, Shotkey is better but not needed. 2) The baofeng speaker output is 3.3V which is pretty high for the MIC+ line, the 10 to 1 voltage divider helps tremendously with audio performance, and frankly I would use 47 to 1 if I did it again. 3) 10K is fine but I had more 100K resistors so I used them instead.
I want to build myself a ebike battery LG: that's unsafe, buy one of our overpriced batteries with bms that has no standard software but I only have 1000$ LG: I DIDN'T STUDDER
It worked...lol... Maybe it's temporary but knock knock does the job... Haha
Hello I am very interested in 2 of these units would your price me if you make 2 of the cable units thank you my friend. Contact me back here and thank you again.
so, LG cells are inherently unsafe and dangerous? Got it. Thankfully my upcoming Ioniq 5 has SKI battery blocks instead.. dodged a bullet there.
