The Lord of the Rings in Concert: Gandalf Falls

I was lucky enough to see the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring in Concert in Seattle. This was one of my favorite parts. Kaitlyn Lusk has the voice of an angel!
Excuse me what is the name of the event and the name of the orchestra? ❤😊
I love the clapping. That's how i feel inside every time i watch this scene.
I felt the same way when my Rex passed away. To this day, the wound has not healed.
awesome
Spoiler: Imagine if this song played later in the series and it was Gandalfs official death. This song would have a even stronger impact on our emotions.
This was my ringtone ❤️
Escena que debe estar en los libros de cine de todo el mundo.

Absolutely beautiful. The greatest films of all time. Legalas, get them up.
symbolic moment when the Fellowship realizes they are probably doomed, but collectively agree the mission must be completed at any cost.
What’s her name??
In 2012 I was at the oracle in Oakland when I first went to see this movie with the orchestra playing live if you can it's a must 👍
Greatest soundtrack of all time.
Each passing day, shows the beauty and the sheer amount of effort, sweat and hard work that was put in order to film and create those movies! “We made a promise to ourselves at the begining of the process that we weren’t going to put any of our own politics, our own messages or own themes into those movies… in a way we were trying to make these films for him not for ourselves” - Peter Jackson P.S. I came here, after the total abonimation of a J.R.R.Tolkien work in a new Power of Rings S2.
Anti-democratic "Republican" I assume?
I cannot like this video enough, I keep coming back to it. She is so talented!
I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil.
Grudge? We fall with gandalf the gray deep in the moria cave
Absolutely breathtaking. It feels so nice
That woman has made the simultaneously saddest and most beautiful sound in existence.
The greatest scene in movie history and a benchmark for what every movie and series should strife to achieve. And that even though Gandalf came back afterwards.
Voice of an angel... 😢
Omg that part always gets me seeing Gandalf die was the worst part of the movie I cried and I still cry every time I see this 😢
Bridge of Khazad-dum song by Howard Shore (last minute and 15 seconds)
Great ans lovely solo.🎉🎉🎉 An Angel voice.❤
As a musician, later in my life, I have always been drawn to a certain chord sequence and I now understand and remember why... This scene really impacted me on an emotional level and, as a 17 year old, when this movie was first released, the next day I woke up with that song in my head and I felt so much sorrow.... I've been drawn to that chord sequence ever since and I am always drawn to songs that use it.
This part of the movie - even though I've seen it countless times - always gets me. The way Frodo screams "Noo!" when Gandalf falls, Aragorn's shock and confusion with a look on his face that says, "How could this happen?" and Boromir's calling after him, recognizing they're still in danger and in need of a leader. And of course, that beautiful, mournful, wailing voice of the singer just captures the grief and powerful meaning of what had just happened. Frodo's despair of all things might be the thing to bring me to tears the most. I love this scene and this movie - it has so much soul.
Yeah, I’m crying, too. 200th time watching it, though.
This is my ringtone❤
Incredible vocalist
that is powerful
Aragorn and boromir taking action.. "On your feet Sam." This scene taught an entire generation manhood and perseverance, and honor. Much love J.R. Tolkien and Peter Jackson. Much love.
My greatest wish in life is to experience this movie/orchestra exactly like this. I would cry too brother. I would cry too.
Same here
How much frodo loved gandolf
Incredible voice
That sniff from this guy I felt on a whole other level
My friends, you bow to no one!
افضل فيلم في تاريخ السينما بدون منازع
❤❤
❤
this song is so beautiful yet it makes you cry
Dont clap until the end people
The look on Frodo's face at 1:54 is so incredibly moving. Perfect marriage of music and visuals.
Absolute fucking magic. Unfortunately, creativity has gone down the shitter these days with woke ideology. So sad. I miss those days.
Aragorn proved himself to be king exactly at that moment, when his pity wouldn't overcome his care for actual lives. He stayed strong and collected for their sake. The second part was when Aragorn didn't take the ring from Frodo. Only those who willingly give up power are the ones deserving to hold it.
They could cut this out and we skip to lothlorian, but it shows the start of the breaking of the fellowship. Gandalf was the leader of the group and everyone is lost without him
1:10 even the cameraman cried
That musyve sounded amazing live.
The part as Frodo is walking away and turns to face his friends when Aragorn calls out his name. The look in his eyes, the tears, the realization that his journey will likely bring death to them all and that he'd not only have to carry the burden of the ring but the burden of their deaths as well. This scene is perfect in every way.
Well it wasn't only that. Im certain Frodo was blaming himself for Gandalf's death because he chose to go through the mines, which was something Gandalf didn't want to do.
Apparently (i don't know where this is from but it's something I've seen from different videos) Peter Jackson asked Elijah Wood to make Frodo's grief Haunting, and I think he about nails it with that look.
I was just thinking about how the LOTR films wouldn't be as epic without the intelligence of its OST. So heartfelt.
