Tim Burton Scaracters Contest Entry: Clown With the Tear-Away Face
[EDIT 3/16/13]: Since I couldn't talk during the video (for fear of cracking the paint) and I wasn't able to upload a voice over track, I put in some small annotation explaining what I'm doing in the bottom right-hand corner. A lot of it is self-explanatory, but just in case any of it isn't then there you go. :)

I grew up watching The Nightmare Before Christmas and the Clown with the Tear-Away Face has always been my favorite side character. It only seemed appropriate that he should be my inspiration for the Scaracters contest! :)
I didn't have a clown costume and the ones at the Halloween store were too expe...

I'll Cover You is my absulote favorite song of Rent. And usually it's hard for me to like the other version of this song unless it's sung by Wilson and Jesse. But oh dear God I seriously looovvveeee this version!! Idina is the best!!

This would actually make a very nice contemporary pop/folk recording, though it doesn't necessarily have to be by her. I think it'd sound absolutely fantastic if recorded acoustic, like in this performance (without the crappy sound).
This is so sweet and nice. A good middle between the the original and the reprise of the song.

Please keep in mind that this wasn't recorded professionally. It was done with a handheld recorder or by a camera. So of course the sound quality won't be the greatest. And if you don't find her amazing that's fine. I respect your opinion. So long as you respect mine and everyone else's who's commented on this video saying that she is.

i still love this but does anyone have a video/audio of when she did it at the Katrina benefit concert in September 2005. It was so beautiful.
