This is my favourite Radiohead album. A lot of their history is about constant experimentation, which produced some of the best albums of the last 30+ years, but in this album everything seems to just 'click' - like they're firing on all cylinders, they have complete mastery of their craft in every imaginable way, they've fully synthesised everything they have ever done. If True Love Waits is the swan song of the band, it truly is the perfect closer to the history of one of the all-time great bands.
It’s my favorite album by Radiohead. I used to like In Rainbows, Kid A, and the Bends as my number one favorites at different times.
The bends is my favorite song of the album, amazing track!
Don't disrespect HTTT. it's a collection of bangers. Nothing more, nothing less. Yeah, it goes all over the place, so does life. And why the stupid need to make a tier list. Let every album just be them selfs.
Pyramid song ❤❤I love that song cool favorite 😇
My favorite Radiohead song.
Man, it’s so great to find someone who loves this album as much as I do. Loved this reaction man
I think you'll find, too, when listening to every album again, that you'll enjoy more and more songs the more you listen
Definitely a love album, but straight up one of my favorites. Every album is different
Sounds like a Hammond B3 organ 👍🏻
imo, the bends doesn't hold a candle to anything post OK computer. I love planet telex, but that's about it.
I had the same reaction at so many spots as you lol. when "the truth will mess you up" bit came on i was like DAAAAAMN
Watch the From The Basement versions of In Rainbows or The King Of Limbs if you can. 👍
Easily their most underrated album. I would almost say it's my second favorite, sometimes my favorite. It just depends on my mood honestly.
Anyone who has ever heard pyramid song is no "casual" sir, lol. By accident or otherwise, once heard, you don't have a choice but to be a fan. I think its some kind of law of nature. 😅
If you love “True Love Waits”, please, please, please have a listen to the live version on the “I Might Be Wrong- Live Recordings”. I have always loved the song, but very much prefer this version.
I knew i was in the right place when i heard your opening piano.
Even the worst Radiohead albums are great albums. Pablo Honey notwithstanding perhaps, although there are some good tracks on there.
Great pick for favorite radiohead track! Such a great song. I was just listening to it like an hour ago. Also, a moon shaped pool might be my favorite album of theirs.
a plastic world for plastic people
omg! i filmed this at bonnaroo ( i was shaking so much bc i was waiting out in the sun for 9hrs before this and was so so excited to see them). i am so happy that you like this version too. i was changed that night, and haven't been the same since. pretty incredible that i've been able to 'share' my experience with so many radiohead fans many years after that night. great channel btw!
"I need that again"
Pyramid song is DEFINITELY my favorite by radio head, hands down!
this is one for the good days
I don't have a favorite album but I have listened to A Moon Shape Pool more than any other since it was released 7 years ago
In Rainbows Ok Computer Kid A AMSP The Bends Amnesiac HTTT KOL Pablo Honey
We suck young blood* first time viewer; keep it up bud. I take the song as being about the record industry taking the life out of young artists
'I will' is about the Amiriyah shelter bombing where the 400-1600 civilians died after an US strike in Iraq
☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
I bet I Will and We Suck Young Blood will grow on you…they are subtle masterpieces IMO, so clean and organic
Dude love your reactions, also a sucker for the keys 🎹 hope one day when I have an album you can hear it!
I've always been confused by the idea that this is a "lesser" Radiohead album. I've always loved the length and variety on it. There's nothing I skip.
and so begins the depression xd
The original is perfect when you come to a place where you understand every word and every note with uncomfortably crystalline clarity.
Based on Orwell's1984.
So? Where does it rank? 1A) In Rainbows 1B) OK CPU 2) Moon Shaped Pool 3A) Hail to The Thief 3B) In Rainbows II 4A) Kid A 4B) Amnesiac 5) King of Limbs 6) Bends 7) Pablo
Yes Sail to the Moon is one of their BEST and one of my favorite songs PERIOD. Up there with Miles ‘Blue in GReen’ Shorter ‘Sweet Pea’ and ‘Two-Faced’, Rachmaninov’Red Riding Hood’ and Ravel ‘Jeux D’eau’
Yeah love this reaction man.. When you get to King of Limbs, please listen to the "from the basement" recordings.
I wish they put Staircase on an album. It's pretty luscious on From The Basement, though.
Sail to the moon has been my all time favorite song and I've literally never seen anybody enjoy it like that. Props to you.
After over a year of radiohead defintly a top 3 track for me!
thanks for reacting to this heavily under rated Radiohead album!
Underrated album. Kid A is my favorite, but I like this one a lot.
When OK computer came out I sat in a dank room with my best friend and listened to the CD until the CD died. We figured out every guitar riff. We were 14 and 15. DAMN MAN this album changed my life. EVERY SINGLE SONG. If you haven't heard the dub version yet... do yourself a favour and go here right now ruclips.net/video/wKIvYmlOS_o/видео.html
HAHAHAHA love this - You rock man
I enjoyed this. I'm in my 30's and been listening to Radiohead since Pablo Honey. Watching their transition and following them has been a journey and an inspiration. What other commenters said - Listen to Street Spirit some more. I was too young to appreciate it when it came out, but now... Gonna check out your other videos now.
This album is in my opinion fantastic. Daydreaming, burn the witch and true love waits are my favorites. Burn the witch my be my all around favorite because it’s so different and haunting and pretty
I suggest to you to react to collaboration of Thom Yorke with Burial and Four Tet on tracks: Ego, Mirror, Her Revolution, His Rope. It's not Radiohead in the slightest, but maybe you would add some tracks to playlist. It's very underground and pop music at the same time.
Tinker tailor is my favourite!
The ABSOLUTELY correct reaction to hearing ‘Daydreaming’. Well done.
Lotus Flower (from the basement) man.. Their "from the basement" sessions are incredible. "the Daily Mail" also. Enjoyed this reaction, Radiohead are just awesome. THE best.
This album is one of very few that has been my favorite album at a given time. It was My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, then Gorillaz - Demon Days, then Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head, then John Coltrane - Giant Steps, then Opeth - Pale Communion, then Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues, then this album, then Yoshiko Sai - Mangekyō, then Joanna Newsom - Ys later that same month, and now it's just all Joanna Newsom albums and some Ichiko Aoba ones. Idk it's too difficult to decide anymore. Anyways, it's a list stretching back almost 15 years to when I started to appreciate whole albums that includes at most 10 albums.
A rare radiohead and coldplay fan Previously thought only to be a legend
