To give more information, Animax is an anime-only channel airing in Asian countries. This dub was aired by in like 2016, where I got to watch it

I haven't seen the Spanish dub of this but I bet the voice acting is much more better in everyway. Any dub is better than this trash.

My favourite too, and Ryoga 4:49 For some reason I omitted the scene with Kuno and the Doll, would of been funny to see his acting in that bit.

Unfortunately I have to disagree. The male Ranma's voice in this dub sounds like a 40 year old man. At least Richard ian Cox managed to sound younger but Sarah Strange not only fit in his age, but also gave him the oomph on the Sass he express himself. And for female Ranma, Venus Torso was ok, but Brigitta Dau, the original first english voice actress, gave Female Ranma the brattyness in her voice. The voice acresss in this dub is actually close sounding to Brigitta Dau for girl Ranma.

Only 8 episodes unfortunately, the only edit I did to this video was amplify the master audio, you will notice the full episodes are much quieter.

This is also one of my childhoods. Didn't noticed back then how funny most of them sound in this dub lol

Mikado's insult to her is too funny 2:01 😂 If more episodes get found I would love to do a part 2, I think this video does a good job showing what the Animax dub is like, I noticed no one has done a compilation of this dub despite being on Internet Archive since 2021. I want to hear Tsubasa & Ukyo English voice, hopefully one day all the episodes will be found and archived.

You are so right, I shouldn't be so harsh on Kai, the last video was a bit too much and was deleted, I assure you this has happened too many times before. Accept the animation for what it is even with its plethora of goofs and quirks, not all animes have the same studio twice. As for the deplorable dub, it reminds me of the Dynasty Warriors English dubs from yesteryears... they are sooooo bad.... it's honestly like the VA's had no direction what so ever. Also kept in mind; Dubbing was still VERY young during this time for video games. So it's very understandable how such voices could be bad because of a multitude of reasons. For Primo, I really wanna bet it wad budget cuts, because no way they needed one woman to voice 4 separate characters 💀💀💀 Or the horrendous pronunciation of my son, Jun Misugi

Both Mikami voices are hilarious, one moment he sounds like a generic NPC from Shenmue and next moment he sounds like a evil villain. The trailer for the Primo TV dub is hilarious bad and cringe, it just showed the bit when Genzo challenges the Nankatsu captains for the field and nothing else. I still wonder what Primo and The Kitchen TV was smockin' when they done this, it's more bad than good. For some reason they left a reminent of the Japanese dub in at the start of Episode 8, it's a great exemplar of carelessness. I actually was working on a 2002 project before this came to be, and yes 2002 animation sucks, some drawings from this gives me flashbacks to it. Do not know if I'm ever going to release it though, it was going to be called "Road to 2002 Trash Animation" and its similar to this video.

It's something that cannot be ignored sadly, there's an obvious distinction between David Production's animation and Studio Kai's effort. I have another video I'm working on showing more cursed images from 2023 and man... you just wonder how they get the final cut.

As far as I know they dubbed all the episodes of the series with these voices from beginning to end for Animax, but it remains unknown if they ever did the same with the OVAs and Movies because those have a different license

​@@Andy_0L I really wish all the episodes will be found one day, this video was only made with 8 full episodes with some being cut due to length. I cannot tell you how many times I have laughed at this dub, the dialogue is hilarious and the acting is really good. For something that was dubbed and aired in 2015 to 2016 it is crazy to me how this is now lost media, a small amount of episodes were found on Google drive from years ago, and it makes me wonder how many episodes are still out there.

They did dub all the episodes (don't know about the movies and OVA), because I remember watching it till the very final episode on Animax back in like 2015 or 2016.

@@sambutlin7437 In my opinion, I feel we've exhausted the JY Arc. It's been reinterpreted since the 80s by various studios and through different artistic and animation styles. Therefore, tolerating its current poor production quality seems acceptable, given its historical significance. However, I had hoped to see the remaining arcs adapted for animation, particularly the WY Arc. The 1994 adaptation was commendable but unfortunately halted at a crucial moment after the RJ7 and Thailand match. I wish they would adapt the entire WY Arc, as it stands out as one of the best, if not the best, arcs in the Tsubasa series. Ideally, we would experience it with the high-quality animation standards of a modern studio, similar to the one in 2018. I am certainly looking forward to a reimagined Road to 2002, as the current version is disappointingly subpar.

@leggidicomputer991 Sure ! We're keen on seeing more from the series produced by David Production, particularly their impressive handling of unique action. While this arc isn't action-packed, they've managed to portray key players like Kojiro, Soda, and Nitta with dramatic flair and stunning effects that showcase technical prowess with memorable shots. It's quite satisfying. The new JY arc doesn't quite measure up, but I'm relieved it's sticking to JY content. Looking ahead, I wouldn't mind skipping the initial part of WY where Tsubasa goes to Brazil and Aoi to Italy, since it's already been covered twice before in J and Road to 2002. Regarding the J anime, despite some shortcomings in the final match against Uzbekistan, it's clear that they just wanted to end the anime so they didnt follow the manga.

Despite all it's flaws in animation, i still enjoyed a lot this season. My hope is that for the next arc we get something much better,

I agree that the animation for this season wasn't good at all and ruined what could have been amazing but it's still worth watching
