Afternoon Polderbaan Landing At Amsterdam (KLM Cityhopper E195-E2)
Sunny afternoon arrival into Amsterdam Schiphol after a short hop from Birmingham.
Overall this was a great flight, started off with a visit to the Clubrooms lounge at BHX which was outstanding, not used to a lounge where staff brings things too you and has made to order food that was delicious! Well worth the visit if you have access. Flight was also great, managed to get a complimentary comfort seat and no one next to me, plus the crew was so friendly. First time getting to experience KLM short haul and was quite impressed.

Rather dreary afternoon departure from Birmingham for a short hop over to Amsterdam Schiphol. Overall smooth flight other than a few minor bumps on climb out. First time getting to fly on the E195-E2, quite comfortable and very quiet other than the "whale/wookie" noise on spool up that many newer engines produce. Rather turbulent approach into an overcast Birmingham after a short hop from Paris, though touchdown wasn't too bad. First time flying Air France, have to say, the crew was wonderful, but that was about the only good thing I can compliment really. Overcast morning arrival into Paris Charles de Gaulle after an 8 1/2 hour flight from Minneapolis. Overall the service on this flight wasn't that great compared to other Delta flights. Approach and landing into Detroit after a hop from Denver. Getting a little close for comfort to some birds on the approach ( :58 ). First time flying a domestic first class with Delta long enough to get a hot meal. Ended up pre-ordering the burger and was pleasantly surprised by the quality.
